@@bearatts agree to disagree. Adidas had has some really interesting shoes,maybe they don’t float your boat, but there’s been quite a few. Ozelia, ZX Fury (unique, however, Reebok springs to mind) 2K Boost Nitejogger Dayjogger X9000L series Ozweego VADAWAM 326 Alphatorsion /2.0 Tencube AH-05 I’m not saying all of these shoes are good either, theres a couple duds, There’s also some good ones, I have bad feet so I always have to take that into consideration. I wore a pair of Nitejoggers and 2K boosts to extinction at my day job. The Nitejoggers offering more stability, the 2k boosts offering a lot more cushion. I would rotate between them depending on what I was doing at work that day. Seriously comfortable with my Inserts. (The insert offer no real padding themselves, more of a guide)

If the S1 is meant for casual use, then it makes perfect sense they would make it a softer underfoot feel than the performance focused UB 21. But damn, it looks utterly insane: if this shoe was released under the Yeezy brand, sneakerheads would be salivating to the point of dehydration and it would sell for at least $50 more and would be a resale beast. A definite cop for me!

I agree 10000%. Adidas definitely borrowed some Yeezy aesthetics for these. This is what shoes should look like today. Definitely copping these and a pair of New Balance 990 V6 when they drop.

@@3d1k3 Actually it's not so much that they sell out but Yeezy/Adidas pull them off the shelves if they don't look like selling out after some days or around 1-2 weeks max: it's like reverse logistics taken back a stage (the store is the startpoint for the process, rather than the customer). It definitely costs $$$ to the bottom line, but the idea is that hype is maintained, that some people miss out and then a few months later the is a magical "restock"...

The plugs are for caging your foot from rolling. Especially since your foot is sitting in a sock like structure which without the plugs would cause your foot to shift around a lot I would imagine. So that’s my guess it’s to stabilize the foot and prevent you from rolling your ankle.

Love the rubber coating on top of the boost sole. I think it'll helps to prevent the yellowish issue of boost when it ages.

That outsole is sick. Reminds me of the Alexander Wang adidas collabs. Dope footprints in the snow for sure. Hopefully they do a winterized version of these in Gore Tex. The big rubber block is probably for stability and torsional support. Colorways will make or break this shoe. Adidas needs to steal some of Nike or New Balances colorists.

The upper and overall design reminds me of the Terrex Freehikers. It honestly has a decent bit of styling from Terrex in the outsole also, but I'm definitely digging the look/color. Definitely a futuristic feel to it.

Yea these are a must cop. I thing i liked about the nmds was i could just throw them on the negative was the boost wasn’t as good as the ultraboost or the Yeezys so if your saying these feel like an ultraboost im sold.

Honestly love the design however I do have some complaints about these shoes and the first complaint is the size, I would recommend sizing down since they do feel big on the foot and my other complaint would be that the plastic of the sole sticks into your foot when your taking your steps witch is very uncomfortable but other than that it would have been an awesome shoe.
