Got mine today and this feels to me just like when the 700 Wave Runners came out. Most were intrigued because it was so different than anything they saw before, and then there were the haters saying it looks awful.... and we know how that turned out. Suddenly the price skyrocketed and those people were forced to pay resale and admit it's one of the most iconic Yeezy's ever. People are just afraid to go with their gut instinct on what is a cool shoe. This is a shoe that the more you wear it the more you will love it and you NEED to see it in hand and on foot. I think this one will be a smash, but if you lookup the other two Orketros that Sean is releasing they are even more fire. One is a blue color way with yellow for the 3 Adidas stripes, and dark green around the foot entry and sole, then instead of the pink on the midsole its white that wraps all the way around the midsole from under the toe box and then continues into the corduroy material that is also white, instead of on these where the pink just turns into black corduroy instead once it goes past the midsole. The blue color way is so sick Then there is an all-around cream/off-white version and just the shiny SW logo on the tongue and the lace ends are dark Green color. Looks so dope and I bet those will come with a pair of green laces as the extras. The blue colorway looks a bit easier to match than the red, and then the off-white color way will be the easiest neutral pair to wear. But all of them are FIRE and you can't go wrong with a $160 price tag for this level of detail, quality fabric, and comfort.

Managed to snag a W of these in a 12.5 Honestly love them, however I did end up changing the insole to a Dr. Scholl's Work in Comfort Massaging Gel Insole, which for me brings these to a whole new level. TBH I hate the the insole is glued into more shoes these days with adhesive, makes it a pain in the ass to replace them sometimes. I would easily rate them a 9/10. straight to foot

Was waiting for your thoughts! Got mine today and they were better in hand, and then even better on foot!!! I love these! They are unique and the front view with the hits of the solar orange showing, and bird's eye view looking down is so fire. I didn't have an issue with the cork insole moving unless my foot wasn't in the shoe I could push it a bit I noticed. I love the detail where the pink lined pattern on the midsole actually continues into the black corduroy material both in texture and completes the shape. Crazy detail in this shoe. Even looks good with just black pants so you don't have to go crazy with the fit to make them work which I'm happy about. Sean’s style is more of a skateboard/vintage vibe than a running shoe like the Yeezys so baggy pants or even basic jeans that cover the shoe a bit go crazy with these rather than tapered pants showing socks imo. But I think a shirt or hat with a slight salmon color will go nice with these, or you can just rock them as the centerpiece of your outfit and the colors all mesh together when you see them from the front. I’ve had my eye on the orketros waiting for a good colorway since the silhouette had major potential and Sean did a great job. His last few collabs were too crazy but this is his best shoe yet. Looking forward to the blue and off white colorways of these. Thanks for the video

@@hereticd3 Yea it's not bad, and like I said if you wear long pants they cover this up a bit. Sean designed these to be more like a skater shoe in a running shoe shape it seems like to me. He is constantly wearing super baggy pants that cover a portion of the top of the shoe and pants/shirts that he splatters paint or dirt on to create vintage looks. But those of us who don't wear baggy clothes and just stick to form fitting stuff, throw on a pair of black jeans that reach below your ankle and bunch up a bit, and let the tongue stick out in front of them. Looks good! Wish I could post a picture here. I think you can actually rock these with a basic outfit you don't need to match the craziness of the colors. Just let the shoe be the focus. But if you want to match colors more, you can go subtle and just wear something with some salmon coloring up top like a salmon graphic tee, or a hat with a salmon brim and off-white top. With a cream-colored shirt. You can also really play into the prominent blue piping around the shoe and wear something that accents and compliments that. The extra blue laces I haven't seen what they look like yet, it could be fire but also be way too much color, but could be good if you're focusing on matching the blue and give you more blue hues to work with. Overall this shoe just looks dope AF on foot with a simple outfit and people will notice this shoe and be like WHAT IS THAT? Since it's not even a popular Adidas silhouette. People still don't even know about the multiple previous non-collab standard Adidas Orketros that came out before this.

my guess is these are very limited in number so they don't end up in outlets like most of Sean's shoes these days. in other words this shoe release is being carefully 'managed' to try and rebuild Sean's image.

agree with this, Adidas limiting releases to try to make confirmed app look better with some showing actually sold out 😂if this was a normal release there is no way it would sell out, you can stick pick up most of his other releases on sale on end and various other websites for 30-40% discount shortly after release. Nothing special about this pair imo just a standard sneaker

@@steveturnbull9869 To say this is a standard sneaker is wild. See them on foot and you’ll change your mind. Lot of regrets going to come out of this drop I feel. But I agree Sean’s last few releases were too crazy, but he’s honing it in here and hitting on something unique. But because of his past releases causing doubt I think confirmed is doing something weird, at least up north here. They were a raffle at first where I had to pick a size, instead of saying I won after the countdown ended it changed into a “buy now” page where I could pick any size. I got my size and sizes 5-8.5 stayed in stock for two days straight. All other sizes sold out. Then it disappeared from the confirmed app but if you went to the adidas website and searched for the shoe, it would open up confirmed and let you still buy them. I think too many people were questioning these so they didn’t sell out in Canada and so they put them back up as a regular sale, but hid them a bit so it looks like Sean sold out quickly. I think he made too many of the most common sizes and not enough of the larger sizes. But still how a shoe sells doesn’t determine if it’s fire or not. People slept on so many Yeezy colorways and silhouettes and then they sold for a fortune. Long term I see these being a sick shoe. The blue and white colorways that he made are cool also

It doesn’t really need boost though, it has Adiprene and Adiprene+ … one absorbs / one springs. The sole of this shoe is a fave of mine and is featured on some of the better Supernova and Response Models. The Formotion heal is the more minimal cut of its counterparts but still is 100x better than not having it at all, allowing the shoes heal strike to flex a bit, taking shock away from your steps.

Yea boost isn’t great on shoes. It’s comfy but the boost bottoms out over time and looks flat. Even with incased boost

@@sir_squonks_alot_castro4438 this is totally true with the Yeezy 350s but my 700s are still insanely comfortable. Boost is great if you rotate shoes a lot which I do. That way you don’t wear them as often. But my Yeezy cinder 350s I wore the most over the past few years and they finally bottomed out a bit and don’t have that same comfort as my newer pairs. But they still slide on my feet so nicely and are comfortable casual shoes. Just missing a bit of fullness in the boost. Adiprene is a better long term material and is still comfortable but I’d say boost still takes the win for comfort. Adidas is starting to combine materials though so I could easily see a shoe with boost and adiprene for structure keeping the comfort going nonstop.

So strange because here in Canada it started off as a Confirmed raffle as usual.... I won. But then after I won I looked at the listing on confirmed and you could just do "Buy It Now" and buy the shoes as normal. So I think not enough people entered the raffle. For that entire day all the sizes sold out except Mens size 5 to 8.5. As I'm writing this currently the shoe was removed from the confirmed app in the listing of shoes you can buy. But if you go to the ADIDAS website and search for the shoe, and click the button that says "Buy on Confirmed" it will open your confirmed app and still take you to the listing and let you buy any size from 5 to 8.5 still!! It's SO WEIRD. I'm wondering if I should cop some more pairs and hold onto them to sell. Where are you from? I'm guessing size 5 to 8.5 is the least popular and size 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, and 11 were the most popular since those literally disappeared instantly.

@@acrawford4686 yea. I bought my size on release day. Then it stayed available for another day on confirmed in sizes 5-8.5. Then it disappeared from the app. But if you searched the shoe on the adidas website you could hit the link to open confirmed app and go to the buy page again and still sizes 5-8.5 were available and went into my cart. Maybe I should have grabbed a second pair but the larger sizes were sold out that will have the most value in these. I’ll hate myself if these sell for $1500 like his Nike AirMax collab do lol. But I’m happy I got a pair.
