In between ax4 gtx and swift r2 gtx which one would you prefer overall in terms of trekking and everyday use ? (Ax4 gtx is also a trail running+trekking shoes as per reviews). I'm from a different country and don't have r3 anwyehere in stock and it's stiff as well.

Great question and honestly for the trekking and every day use you can't go wrong with either. I will say, even though it may not seem this way from looking at them, when i have the shoes on, the R2s feel a tad more sporty and the AX4s feel a bit more like a hiking shoe/boot for som reason. If the emphasis is more on the trail running / trekking i would go with the R2, if it is more on the trekking / every day use i would go with the AX4. I say this because for running i think the sportier feel of the R2 would be better, but for a typical every day shoe the AX4 feels more casual while wearing. Hope this helps.

Adidas is for Ladies. I hate their narrow toe box. I have Ax4, Eastrail2, B.Boot, QuestLt. all are same. Crampy shit at the front. I love my Merrell.
