I use the Rise 1 as my daily trainer and I love every step in it. Ground feel, flexibility and extreme comfort. I’m a 62 kg forefoot lander and no noise issues on my part.

Its really weird to see people complain the rhe shoe is boring when thats the purpose of a daily trainer and encouraging easy running without tempting the runner to pick up the pace is a good thing. Shoes are tools and the role the rise is a daily trainer that has good protection, confort, and flexibility.

Lots of really good daily trainers out there now and coming soon. These Adidas shoes, the new NB 880v15 looks better than v14, new Clifton coming out, Ghost 17 looks decent, Saucony Ride 18 is a good one, Novablast 5 is a banger. Glad to see the shoe companies putting out better daily trainers

As a mild overpronator myself, the Solution 2.0 is a dream to run in (pun intended). I got the wide version and I always pick them up for longer easy runs.

Got a pair of the original solution for £60 and it's become my go to early morning easy run shoe. I've been really surprised by how much I've taken to it...Just so comfortable, stable and has that no frills 'mr dependable' vibe, which, in a world of super soft and super bouncy high stacks, is sometimes just what you crave (especially deep into a training block when injury is a concern)
@FordyRuns10 сағат бұрын
Yeah at £60 it makes sense

I have the Solution v1 and have just picked up 2 more pairs on discount from Adidas. I have also just picked up a second hand pair of the Rise v1 to see if I can use them despite usually being a stability person. At reduced price I think they are reasonable daily trainers especially for beginners like me who can’t get on with the Pegasus (despite price reductions).

I have the Solution v1 and love it! I love the foam which feels more responsive than other stability shoes while not being overly soft (which i prefer). I also love that they feel much more smooth rolling than pretty much any other stability shoe I've tried. I will definitely keep buying these shoes but haven't put enough kms in v1 yet to justify buying v2 right now.

I have the Rise v1 (got for $50 on Adidas clearance) and I really love them. Maybe the most comfortable daily trainer ever -- replaced my Brooks for that. The cushion isn't as much as I am used to, but it's so plush and bouncy. I like them for walking around and for shorter runs.

I have the Rise ver.1. Got it almost immediately after launch because I, like many of you running-influensers, applauded that Adidas finally launched a daily trainer. I found it surprisingly comfortable to run in, but did'nt give any inspiration for faster pace. I almost immediately thought that this shoe will sooner, or later, be downgraded from running to walking, but found the rocker to almost exclude them for such a use. You're kinda tipping forward in them when standing. I like them and will not upgrade to ver.2 because the difference is not that big.

The Prima is really good. Get that over these (I have all 3)

I'm struggling to work out where people put a "daily trainer" in their rotation. For a standard, 3 shoe rotation I'd have a race shoe, a tempo shoe and a max cushioned easy day shoe. Not sure what benefit I'd get from having this kind of shoe in there.

Based on many of the comments here, it seems the "solution " for Adidas is to merge this shoe with the Boston. The upper of this shoe with the biston midsole. $145 price, 8mm drop, call it a day.

I have tried Solution v 1 but I have tried both rise, stride, and GTX. I love GTX and stride but I have a problem with too much flexibility at forefoot of the rise. I felt like my toes moved too much when I ran with rise, so I stoped running in them at 20K(while I ran more than 100K in GTX)
@philipppuchner111513 сағат бұрын
Too much flexibility? I thought that was the whole reason for the shoe beeing that way. To feel natural, to not limit your natural flex. For Sagasu the Rise 1 is the shoe of the year 2024 for him, because of that and because the shoe doesn't make you go faster like many other shoes do nowadays. And because it is not overly stacked. To sum it up, because it is a boring oldschool daily trainer - perfect for him. He likes this and daily trainer workhorse shoes. No fuss, no stuff, natural stride without the shoe wanting you to do more this or that or interfere in any way. I just have at home the Adios 8 and the Rise 1 for trying on sizewise and feelwise and yes, the Rise feels boring. It reminds me of the Saucony Pwrun+ foam. I just got a package of used Saucony shoe and the used Axon 3 feels very similar to this Adidas Rise 1. I have to test a little more i guess. Ah and the Adios 8 are extremely hard man! They are for sprinting and intervall workouts, but you cannot jog in them, they feel harder than barefoot. And since the Takumi Sen is basically the Adios just with stiff energy rods to stiffen up the shoe, i didn't even bother trying this ;)
@osareeakaraborworn83093 сағат бұрын
@@philipppuchner1115 Actually I love old school shoes. I love supernova stride which I think it is more boring than rise 1 haha. But I really enjoy steady feeling that the shoes give me. I haven't tried Adios, I plan to try Adios 9. I love firm shoes so I think I will like Adios easily.

The original supernova was prob the greatest daily trainer… I think for adidas they were too good and lasted for too many kms. They’ve been missing the daily trainer mark by trying not to do what they already got so right. Tag a few extra quid on it and do the job right!

I really don't understand why Adidas produces sneakers with 3 different peba foams. We give dream strike, light strike, boost. Why Adidas??? Give up boost and make the model range simpler for the consumer. Why does boost exist in nature if you have a new training peba? This is not right. All we want is beautiful geometry and 2 types of foam. Fast, light and with a high return "light strike", and soft and pleasant foam with an average return "dream strike".
@philipppuchner111513 сағат бұрын
Yeah, their lineup is a mess. They should simplify like Nike is trying (lets see about that). Also confusion is that you strictly have to seperate Adidas from the Adizero line.
