I ran my 1st world major- NYC Marathon’24 in super blast 2 They were fantastic- best shoe ever. I agree with Fordy- everything about Superblast 2 is right. I am looking at Pro4 as i am trying hit at that 4 hrs mark- so will need that push with Carbon Plate. i am still thinking whether to continue with Superblast 2 or Pro 4 for my next Marathon

As a forefoot striker: For easy + 45min recover: 1080 v13. Just got the Adidas Evo SL today, have not tried it yet. Looking forward to Saucony Triumph 23. I maybe interested in the Vomero Plus/ invincible 4 if there is more midsole in the forefoot and lighter weight. I find v1 & v2 borderline bottom out. Skip v3 completely. For 3-h slowww long run without marathon pace: Enjoying my Glycerin Max, Im all set. For Long run with Marathon pace: Im all set with adidas PXS v1. Im interested in the v3 My backup is Superblast v1. Have not tried v2. Kinda hoping there will be a softer v3. Possibly using racing shoes for this task if nothing tops PXS v1. For Racing: in this order - Saucony Elite v2, Vaporfly v4, Metaspeed Edge v4, MZ type 1, Alphafly Elite (Jakob's version), Adidas Pro 4

I am really glad they haven't discontinued kinavara pro !!!! - but before news of endo trainer got to me ive stacked up on 3x pairs of it - its a great shoe - but not at full price - at about 30% discount it is my top pick of the year !! Now - saucony pls resurect shift as i need to replace my shift 3 very soon - my big toe start to poke out 😅

Really looking forward to the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro 3 ('beta'?) and its variants. It looks like they have a new TPEE foam composition that's really soft and bouncy, and Mizuno manages to add a lot more foam to the midsole than other manufacturers (especially in the midfoot area that I like) legally within the World Athletics guidelines in their racing super shoes.

I'll give you 3 combo's;- Saucony Endorphin Elite 2 + Endorphin Trainer, Hoka Cielo X1 2.0 + Mach x3, and Brooks Hyperion Elite 5 + Hyperion Max 3. Can't wait.

The shoe I really want Nike to make is like a combo of their classic pegasus and the streakfly. Basically an Alphafly lite. Give me a daily trainer that is light, has zoom x, and the air zoom unit, without the plate. Then you can pair it with the new zoom fly which is for tempo/threshold/long runs, invincible for recovery/easy runs, and then the alphafly or vaporfly as the race shoe.

Looking forward to the new Puma ForeverRun Nitro and Adidas Boston 13. Hopefully they don't mess about with them too much though.

I'd say some of the Mystery Mizuno Shoes, Hoka Mach X 3, Saucony Endorphin Trainer, and Brooks HM3 and HE5. I loved the Brooks HM2, but am afraid maybe the HM3 has too much stack. That Hoka Cielo X1 2.0 looks kind of neat with that rocker. Brooks shoes really work for me so I might stick with that brand.

I'm most looking forward to the Hoka Mach X3. I luv the Mach X2. The midsole feels amazing, but they did screw up the upper pretty badly. At The Running Event in Texas, Hoka displayed the Mach X3 prototype, and it looked like a Mach 6 upper on X2 midsole. Sadly, I don't think this shoe drops until Fall 2025. 😢
