I ordered and returned them. At least 1/2 size too small, two large toes rubbed front of toe box. Ordered same size as previous NB Fuel Cell Propels, so not sure what NB did when they designed and sized these Propel V5.

Would these be good for walking ? Trying to get matching pairs but I want for running other wants for walking / work

being narrower is a deal breaker for me.

I recently got some alphafly 3s and was really worried about arch issues as I have wide feet/flatter arches. I've gone up a half size in them and honestly had 0 issues with the arches after running 20km in them. I actually ordered a true to size aswell and could feel the pressure around the arch even just trying them on... Ive gone up a half size a few times in other running shoes and usually does the trick for issues with toebox (or arches in this case) etc. loving them so far!

Looks epic. Be interested to see how this performs over the marathon and half distance.

The real question is, " Are you fast enough?" Ha ha , will you do a comparison with the Elite ? I really liked the elites, though I'm pretty slow, and I still felt fine in them, probably because I like the firmer foam and wide toebox compared to ep3. ( I also wear vibram 5 fingers ) I bought the alphafly 3 but returned them as I didn't like the foam as too soft and didn't like the toe box. Elite 2 looks like a great shoe, but I feel it will be like the alphafly 3 ( looks like that's what they were going for) so I would presume more people will like it. I like everything about it apart from the foam, it's a 180 compared to the elite. It looks like the pro 5 will probably be the new pwr hg foam trainer, and the elites going forward will be this new softer foam . Is it still aggressive ? I know you had sore feet before with the elite, so I wonder with the softer foam does that compensate for the aggression of that plate. Great review as usual.

This looks promising, perhaps more of a crowdpleaser than the Elite 1 seemed to be. For now i'm very happy with my pro 4s that i just got. My threshold pace was 2% faster than running with my Mizuno Wave Rider 26s i had been doing all my runs in. Hopefully Saucony improves the traction before the wider commercial release, or for Paris tbh imagine having athletes in your shoes slip and fall in the Olympic marathon 😬

Ran the 10k on Sunday in these - loved them. Can’t imagine there are many super shoes that would have liked the U-turns. Felt absolutely unreal along embankment. Looking forward to spinning them out at Valencia Half in October

I just got some saucony trail runners Excursion Tr16 can’t wait to try them out saucony is really my favorite. I’ve gotten into ASICS and puma recently. I had to get the trail ones tho bc they’re the new version of the ones I had 20 years ago when I could first make my own choices about shoes lol they were just a random buy from Sierra trading post and they won my little heart. I like buying men’s bc I have narrow feet so men’s are just right roominess w/o being too wide and blistery, for me personally.

Looking forward to the Big Half cobble test for them 😂 Just received my v1s from when Sportshoes had them on sale last week and they feel plenty soft for me - think I’d be pronating all over the place in the v2s

Are you the only shoe reviewer globally who managed to snag a pair? KZbin is very quiet on this shoe. So you’re telling me these are softer than new balance rebel foam?

Asics Gel Nimbus 25 (bought them very discounted luckily) Bulky, mussy, slow, dangerously slippery in wet conditions and soooooo hot!!!!! Totally unbreathable. £180 retail price??What a joke!!!......... You recommend it, by the way

Yeah it looks a totally different shoe to the Elite v1 which is a shame for those who liked the slightly firmer yet more responsive foam which that shoe brought over from the Powerun PB foam in the Pro 3. Glad that I still have a box fresh pair of the Elite v1 to not have to worry about new race shoes for a while yet.

Adidas dint need tobtelease the pro 4 yet! The pro 3 is great and the evo 1 much better so they are waiting the right moment! And is very probable a full podium fot the Evo 1 in mens and womens olympic marathon so that fact could put the pro 4 in rhe freezer for some time
