Tech Pro is a Boost powered high top winter and foul weather focused but not exclusively so run / scramble shoe with an effective BOA Fit System closure, a Boost/EVA midsole, and a 4mm Continental outsole. Not the lightest at 14.3 oz / 406g we all agreed that is flexible agile ride had it running far lighter than its weight on all terrain, even pavement. $250. Available now.

These look crazy! Adidas should be asking a triple black version of them.

These are great. Used/use them in military PE, works well in cold and warm weather. At +30 Celsius it starts to get hot.

I Detail/clean tour buses. I do a lot of moving around. It's on a wet-slick oily concrete floor. I need GOOD TRACTION! I just sent the Swift R3's back because they wasn't comfy to me yet seemed good on the shop floor for traction. Would you recommend these or maybe the winter ones (cold dry) I just love the BOA system!

I might recommend you look at a "tactical" boot or shoe. I believe their outsoles are designed for such slippery surfaces

My confusion with Terrex is the amount of options with multiple shoes/sneakers/boots not showing why theyre different or why you should purchase one over the other. Why would I purchase these over the Free Hiker/Free Hiker 2 (GTX option) Or the Free Hiker Cold. Rdy?
@sthompson12132
@sthompson12132 Жыл бұрын
had this same question and the answer i got is that these are the only ones out of the three you mentioned meant for running…the other two are designed for hiking/walking
@jborrelli34
@jborrelli34 Жыл бұрын
@@sthompson12132 Trail running shoes are also great for hiking, many hikers, including myself, wear trail runners on my hikes, trail runners aren’t necessarily for running but theyre for quicker moving hikes with a lighter pack. This is partly why I remain a little overwhelmed with these selections. I own 4 pairs of of Adidas Terrex, different types for different seasons and different terrain. I feel as though these Agravic are so cool in practice but I’m curious as to why it has this entire zipper up when theyre not even water proof
@sthompson12132
@sthompson12132 Жыл бұрын
@@jborrelli34 i think because they’re meant for running i.e. faster, more active movement and therefore being able to shed water and insulate with wetsuit-like neoprene are design features

How do you think these would fare for sort of an everyday winter "boot"? I'm looking for something I can wear out in the snow and wet winter weather that's a bit more casual/stylish than a full on winter boot. I know Adidas has some GoreTex boots, but I like the styling of these over the others they have to offer.
@dankmemer2774
@dankmemer2774 3 жыл бұрын
For your described usage, I recommend the adidas terrex free hiker cold.rdy. It is similar to this shoe in design, but it is insulated and more waterproof with gore tex. These are more of an all rounder all season shoe with a little bit of everything. They are both the same price at $250.

It is. The inner boot plus plenty of toe box room and the non waterproof but water resistant upper, so breathable to a certain extent, and drier feet in cold is key, all join together here.
