an update: i kept the sandals and i am mostly happy with them. that bump i mentioned in the video i don't feel anymore. my feet do sit a bit rotated from the center axis of the sole, but it's mostly fine. they keep up fine, they don't smell, are quite easy to put on and take off, and i still really like their look.
