Adidas this is Bull🤬🤬🤬🤬!!! A look at the “new” ag plate for the Adidas Crazyfast

*** PLEASE NOTE!!!! When I published this video Adidas had yet to widely release their new 2g/3g outsole, which at the start of 2024, became widely available (at least in Europe.) Adidas has gone from basically providing zero differences for their AG outsoles to providing the most options in the AG category. Haven't yet got my hands on the new 2g/3g tooling but good on Adidas for providing these for the consumers!

Thanks for making this video. Are the studs not a bit shorter on the AG version? I thought they were - even so, Adidas should be embarrassed about this!

The two center studs towards the forefoot are like a couple of millimeters shorter then the FG model, not enough to justify going with the ag version.

I’ve had two previous acls and need a new pair of boots. I’m a right winger/forward so want a speed boot. What is the safest premium/elite AG only boot you’d recommend?

Solid options, but honestly, the Asics X-Pro series is really good. You'll have to eBay them but I found them to be some of the best aggressive boots that I've worn.

As for mainline boots, at this rate, the Puma MG boots are your safest option.

Nike have pretty good AG boots as they have conical studs. Try the Mercurial or Phantoms

Adidas having been making the same hard ground soleplate in Japan for like the last 7 years. total cheapening out.

Can’t you use just buy the SG Verision of the crazyfast with TPU replacement studs, and screw the TPU conical plastic moulds onto the boot which is basically better suited to AG?

I've seen guys do this and while I haven't done it myself, the logic behind seems like it would work. Ask gcfctraining about it, saw he did the SG with tpu studs for a vapor xi recently.
