Those Oregons were very nice. I've been a fan on adidas since 70's with Kick.... then I got Gazelle when first out around '85. And got in the casual scene.... I'm getting Montreals in red hopefully I next week or so. Got prob 25+ pairs & other brands but mainly concentrate on adidas exclusively now. Nice collection mate. Pick up Havens all white leather next Monday. Last pairs were New York & Lacombe Spezial. 👍🏼👍🏼

For real, the best shoe for me is the forest groves and USA 84s, you can wear them whole day and your feet won't get sore. I own 4 pairs of forests and 1 usa84

85? The Gazelle has been on the go since 1966 mate. One of the oldest originals there is, other than Samba's you won't find many models that stood the test of time.

I love And own 2 pairs of Trimm Trabs (Argentina navy and green white stripes) but I've been buying loads of 90s generation zx6000 zx9000, Lego plates ×2 I'm not a collector I do wear my trainers weather permitting. I had those green subbuteo trimm trabs at school, my dad was always telling me to get a pair of trimm trabs as a kid, but could never get the Argie blue colour way at the time. I regret destroying them on the Astro turf now 😰.

Don't. They'd have fallen apart by now. I have the Subbuteos as well and they're unwearable despite me wearing them every few months, and keeping them boxed when not. Even just bending them a bit, the sole just cracks like it's made of cake. Trimm Trabs and Forest Hills all have the same issue, the outsoles eventually just turn into crumbly sponge and if you wear them they just fall apart while you're walking. There's no stopping it I don't think as I've got about 12 pairs of TT/FH and every pair is either doing it, or showing signs of it beginning. My newest Trimms are the Lost Ones Size? exclusive release from a year or so ago, and I'd bet a pound to penny they'll start doing it in 2030 or so. They're both awesome trainers, but they're not built for collectors or keeping long term, they're made for wearing out before they fall apart. Another pair in this collection (PT70s) have an altogether different outsole issue. They turn absolutely rock hard, almost like glass, so you just can't wear them because it's like walking on black ice. Doesn't matter if it's carpet, concrete, grass, tiles - they're literally dangerous unless you're walking on wet mud. Any other surface and you'll be on your arse the second you forget what you're wearing.

@@Pittibarlin yeah I had the trimmys that came out a little later. I purchased a mint pair from 2005 for my dad and the soles fell apart straight the way. Have it tattooed above my knee, the trainer that started it all for me.

@@dannyhill896 same mate. Mid '80s. That's why I still have pairs despite knowing they'll turn to dust 😂 I pulled the sole completely off one pair and use them as house slippers. The rest just sit on my shelves, nothing more than decoration. It's crazy as I've got some Samba from the mid '90s and some Kick from the 1980's and I can still wear them without having to nurse them. It's almost criminal how Adidas haven't updated the materials they use on Trimm's and FH in almost 50 years. Ain't like they don't have dozens of other rubber from other styles they could use, the white Hamburg sole for instance.

I need some help! I've been searching everywhere and can't find a certain pair of trainers I used to have. They are over 10-12 years old now tho. They are a black trainer with a blue rubber base, they had LA stitched into the side at the back in fancy letters and had what I assume is the LA skyline printed on the middle of the trainer in grey, they had 2 pairs of laces on each trainer and they were black and blue, I'm pretty sure they were standard height but could of been hi tops, does anyone have any ideas what they are?

If you still have the original shoe and thus bottom of its crumbled you can get the soul replaced you just got to get a new la Skyline so they did really some again this was couple of years ago and they had him in 18montrose and size but they're the original ones that said from back in the original original ones they like green silver and they did a blue and red I think colour I think they're shoes you're after but if not just message me and I'll see if I can try and help you find them mate all right you take care
