Adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 vs Pure Boost 2017!

Gotta get the facts right before doin these videos. Adidas changed and made the new pure boost 2017 for performance as runner now. The old pure boosts were straight casual but the new 2017's are performance shoes. So that explains the less stretchy upper and the new pure boost feels tiny bit more firmer which is cool for running. Adidas also widened the forefoot area for the new pure boost for more stability.

Yeah, but I reckon most runners would argue that the Pureboost is more of a runner than the Ultraboost, which I feel is pretty rubbish for serious runners. If you want a comfortable shoe with Boost that performs, try the Ultraboost ST. They are so damn comfortable!

Khiang Trinh I'm only specifically talking about what adidas made the models for, it's intended purpose. Obviously u can rock any shoe casually like basketball shoes, but they were made and designed for basketball. Ultra boosts were made and designed for performance, the pure boost 1 and 2 were not and were supposed to be the most comfortable lifestyle casual shoe, but the 2017 is geared for performance running. How good they perform is all subjective to each but whether it performs good or not isn't my argument, I'm just saying that's what adidas designed the pure boost 2017 for, running, unlike the past models. They kept saying in the comparison it's a casual shoe and not a runner.

So true that runners don't really wear the Ultra Boost. I run track and XC and I find Ultra Boosts a little too soft and not responsive enough for real fast runs, I just use them for steady recovery runs and casual, whilst wearing Nike Zoom Pegasus 33s for longer training sessions and Nike Zoom Streak LT3s for track sessions. Zoom is definitely better than Boost for serious running but for casual Boost is miles ahead of anything else.

I copped the burgundy pureboost with gum bottom, they are sexy af. And when I went to the mall i tried the uncaged ultra boost on my left foot and purboost on the right, and comfort-wise they are somewhat the same, although the ultra boost uncaged is a little bit unstable and they run super narrow. I also used my coupon and got the pureboost for just $112

Own both. Ultra boost was more comfortable until I put an insole in the pure boost and that felt so nice. Even better than my ultra boost. Decided to custom a pure boost on mi Adidas instead of getting another ultra boost. Recommend a pure boost if your not all about the hype...

I own both shoes. Personally, the comfort level is about the same on both shoes. Full length boost is automatically comfortable... let's be real. The price difference sets the pure boost off from the ultra boost, so in my opinion it makes more sense to get the the Pure boost

Despite what everyone's sayin, both the UBs and PBs are RUNNING shoes, not runners. They have far better support, traction, and stability that work well with the cushion. Runners are more like the Roshes and NMDs, you don't actually wanna run in those cuz they have the silhoutte of running shoes but not the functionality of an ideal one

TBH I have loads of shoes including ultraboosts and pureboosts including Nmd primeknits. And I have to say. The only comfortable one is the Ultraboost but it costs £130 and you have to be wary about damaging them , and keeping them clean. But out of all the shoes I have the Nike Air Presto Flyknit is by far the best shoe in my entire collection. I got it for £50 in Nike outlet ( super super cheap ) and it's the best money I've ever spent. Flyknit fits warm and tight, the cage support and normal support is incredible ! And they are comfy AF more than pureboosts and nmds. Nearly as comfy as ultraboosts, When you run in them you actually have momentum as the air is more firm but still bounces back. However boost feels like your sinking
