Nice review Nightwing! From all the videos I've seen so far, seems like they reduced the boost cushioning to make these firmer for runners. Can't wait to review them when we finally get our late launches here in Canada.

I've just picked up a pair of the UB because of your reviews. I'm not a runner but needed something for my crooked diabetic feet. I love the mix of firmness and comfort of the Boost material. Perfect everyday trainer for people with diabetes and feet problems. Great video, thanks.

gadviel They're called "gum" because they're suppose to stick better to surfaces, like how chewing gum sticks. Also gum soles are different from rubber soles because gum does not contain plastic like rubber does. I'll continue to call them gum soles because that's what they are.

Just copped these today and I went true to size and they fit just fine. The boost on these things feel amazing on foot!

I ran a half marathon in my pair, as well as used them for a three week outdoors course. One minus was that they weren’t very grippy at all (on roads and mountain tracks alike), but they would dry out within half a day if they got wet. Super handy

I just picked these up and love them. I ordered the Shadows but hated the way they felt (cheap and uncomfortable) which was a bummer because I was so pumped to get them. Returned them to finish line and saw these on the shelf. Way more comfortable and they are the exact look I wanted (sport /casual mix) . I did have to go down a half size, which is something I never do with Nike. Overall, I love them.

i cop a black colorway and the burrito tongue are awesome and different good innovation, it wraps the foot like a sock when you lace it giving custom fit and support. while the midsole boost material at the forefoot are less giving your foot closer to the ground while at the heel with a large boost giving you a flush and comfy ride either when your running or while walking.

The wide base reminds me of the Yeezy V2 but with no cage around the boost. Is it more comfortable than the Yeezy V2?

They remind me of the V2 because of that wide front as well. The V2 has softer more plush Boost. These are slightly firmer for stability while running.

Hey! Great review thank you for that. I know I'm a little late here but I just got this shoes for work. I spend a lot of time on my feet so I thought it will help me but after a couple of hours I found them kinda hard. Is there any super soft, cushioning insole or something like that that U can recommend?

Do you think this midsole/outsole will translate over to the UltraBoost? Or will they take a card from Nike (with the AirMax line) and just keep remaking the uppers and not changing the midsole/outsole?

I think they should (and will) leave the Ultra Boost tooling alone -- it belongs to the UB line IMO. If they wanted to do the same here with this tooling and just adjust the uppers on future PureBoost models then I'd be happy with that too. So long as they stick to what works.

Adidas is already starting to treat boost like Nike did to Zoom. They give something incredible at first and then start caging it, makin it firmer.

i tried on a pair of ultra boosts for the very first time last wk with my true size and they fit quite well, very comfy, although i wouldnt mind trying half a size up but they didnt have any at that store becos i think if i wore thicker socks they may seem abit tight and the knit is so sock like that it seems almost quite fragile and easy to get dirty? idk.. still the price i still cant afford that

liam wong I don't think so, Nightwing said that for the pure boost you should go half size down. If you want to be sure to get the right size trying them on first is always the safest way to get what you want...

Dragonitinite They don't pay for the tech. They pay to place the Nike Air branding on the heel. Nobody ever believes me, even when I confirmed it with an employee from the brand. JB separated from Nike back in the late 90's early '00s.

I like the tongue on these....not better than standard tongue, but it doesn't bother me at all. I would agree on them being a half size too big...they might feel true to size, but they do stretch after a couple weeks (buy only true to size if your gonna put in insoles....otherwise, get half size down)
