And with that, mikeferr107, you are absolutely right! I mean, any Pac-Man game at all -- old-school or not -- that does not have tight and well-integrated controls in them is a serious recipe for instant FAIL, potentially. That is my acid-test for any home version of Super Pac-Man, computer system or otherwise... and the Commodore 64 version bombed miserably due to such loose broken controls and rather cheap gameplay, you know? Anyway, I thank you so much for that truly fine comment!! ^-^

@mikeferr107 true dat; control on the Pac-Man Classics Collection was okay but was slightly unresponsive and a little difficult to maneuver due to having a d-Pad and no joystick. =/

Well played. You had mentioned that the controls are tough on this version of the game. I find the same problem on the Game Boy Color version. I guess that Pac Man games in the absence of tight joystick controls can be frustrating no matter what.

The DOS version is worse. It not only has the same issues as this version, but is stuck with CGA graphics, an added PC speaker tune, and inaccurate sounds (yeah, PC speaker sucks, but other games like Ms. Pac-Man made an attempt to sound something like the original).

Brian Clark I totally, *TOTALLY* agree with you; the MS-DOS version of Super Pac-Man was even wayyyyy more flatly atrocious than the already plain-horrible C64 version... and that is saying a _rather_ monumental lot, having just seen the video just now about that other version indeed. Best to plain avoid those stinking effing duds altogether and stick instead with the quite excellent Arcade and 7800 versions, for example, as they are fantastic ever-truer adaptations of this original 1982 game itself by comparison!!! ;) Also, at the time of this writing of this reply to you here, my man Brian, this arcade original of Super Pac-Man is at least around 32 years old today!!! Hard to believe at first, but absolutely and most utterly true when you think about just how old this game really is since it first came out way back then. JUST PLAIN WOW, I can feel myself going to the arcades again even as I type this!!! (^-^)=b !!!

Looks ok, sounds ok, makes an ok game, i suppose, maybe it's my love for the commadore 64 showing through, but it dosen't seem all that bad, but playing may beliving, and until i play it, i will hold further comments, thanks for the upload, and gameplay

Other things wrong with this port 1. They messed up the order of the items/fruits 2. Constant thumping sound (when you're Super Pac) gets annoying 3. Pac-Man's lives, though animated, look stupid 4. Ghosts don't exactly look right

Nice way of controlling this man! I had a hard time with this two, honestly Super Pac-Man was a disgrace to Pac-man in general

Ha-ha! The programmers must have had some really good acid back then. They've POKEd the Pac-man sprite to double size!
