For you to live monthly(excluding college fee), you need approx 115000 yen(63,500 rupees) I've included rent, daily supplies and even fun activities. the minimum you will probably need is 100k yen(55,000 rupees) and max 150k yen(82,000 rupees) now this might go up depending on where you live in japan japan is really costly to live (mujhe apne zaameen bhejne padenge)

even though food is expensive the quality is much higher than what we eat in India and if we buy groceries from supermarkets to get a similar quality of food we might need to pay even higher in India than Japan and still wages are lesser in India. I guess going to Japan is a great idea to any student. sadly I have now graduated and I'm working in India if only I could go to Japan after my SSC boards it would have been so good. the lifestyle, the education, the anime culture, the aesthetic everything is so good in Japan. I really wish if there is a second Life I hope to be born in Japan.

Exchange rates are not the correct measure of mapping living costs...... actual value purchasing power parity is more accurate as ....cost of living in Japan is high but salaries are also higher in India so 100 Japanese yen is not equal to 55 rupees but in comparison you'll be able to live the standard of living of 100 yen in just 23.5 rupees Instead of 55 rupees......
