But hope for change through court order will be impossible because Israel as well as the USA haven't signed their allegiance to the ICJ. Thank you South Africa for taking this to the ICJ. Israeli government is not just the recipient of arms from USA but is hand in glove with powerful leaders at the top of the chain in US government. Millions were and now are disgusted by the bombing and continuation of bombing. Hiroshima and Nagasaki sent a message to the world that USA WAS prepared to drop a nuclear bomb to win a war. The crimes of the Japanese Army were horrific. No doubt. The Japanese Army was losing the War by 1945. The bombs not only claimed the 'victory' for the USA, but sent the message to the world that USA Would use heavy arms and unclear bombing if it thought necessary. This set the stage for the Cold War for the next forty years. Now USA and Israel have demonstrated their might and ability to do the same to maintain control, subdue the region and demonstrate its might to the world. In doing so, the actions have thrown the world into a New cold war, New world order. Governments, whole cross sections of populations are aghast by USA decisions to support this genocide. It has created a huge separation between countries, states, people. USA has lost the moral high ground. It cannot claim a peacekeeping role in regions.
