Just a few corrections in Valmiki's Ramayana: Firstly, Lord Ram prays to the ocean for permission to make the rocks float. However, the ocean doesn't show up, so Lord Ram prepares his Brahmastra to fire it at the ocean for its head weight. The ocean then pleads guilty, and so on. Secondly, Ravana actually comes in disguise to capture Sita. In the actual Ramayana, Ravana captures Sita along with the part of the land she was standing on. These were according to the real Ramayana, but the Adipurush team changed a lot of the actual Ramayana.

Bro..there are many issues with the epics and caste problems, but these aren't among them. Pandit sastri, or for a more neutral source John A Griffith's translation can be found for free online. Ravan was a Brahmin. Valmiki was a dalit. Surpanakha harassed ram and threatened to kill Sita. And sanyasi is a stage of life, not a caste. All Varnas were expected to go from brahmachari to grhasta to vanaprasth to sanyasi.

Boss - you don’t know real Ramayana or what? Why are you unnecessarily bashing Brahmins in an unrelated topic 😂 First , Valmiki wasn’t a Brahmin nor was Ram nor were Sita or Lakshman. The Brahmin was Ravanan. The reason Ravanan came as a sage was cos Seetha was living in the forest and it was normal for Sages in the ashram to ask for daily food. So first of all set aside your hatred for a caste and understand the actual story. Soorpanaka’s nose was cut cos she went to attack Sita as Ram cited that he was already married cos of which he didn’t marry her. Otherwise both were of equal stature as both were from Royalty. While you do troll script writers for not getting the plot right, the same should be true for you.

You're wrong about the Valmiki Ramayana- Rama is a kshatriya, and Ravana is a brahmin in the Valmiki ramayana, meaning Ravana and his family were higher caste than Rama. Ravana was also considered a very wise and powerful person, he was revered by everyone at the time and Rama was the 'underdog' of the story. Surpanakha tried to seduce Rama, but when Rama refused her and said he was married, she tried to kill Sita. Due to that Lakshmana defended Sita and ended up cutting Surpanakha's nose. While it was a brutal punishment, Surpanakha was the one at fault.
