We like staying at old historical hotels. Food looked really good. Have to keep this one in mind if we're in that direction later this summer. Wonderful place to spend your anniversary.

Gypsy Lynn its an amazing hotel and an awesome little town to visit. Everyone is so friendly and tons of vary type of little store you could imagine. I highly recommend staying here.

I love the old wallpaper in these historic places. It's almost like time traveling to a simpler time. Desoto House....I'm trying to recall why I have heard of this place. I'm not sure if I'm thinking of a school project I did or Ghost Adventures lol Restaurant looks pretty good. I think I know now why I've heard of the Desoto House recently....Teddy Roosevelt. After I seen the famous folks who stayed there photos I remember now. Thanks for sharing this!

The Mad Nomadder yeah that wallpaper is awesome and weird. But this town is a hidden gem. I highly recommend everyone come and visit sometime. Talked to a guy and said that anybody who was anybody of the time stayed here.

They were so nice with the extra touches for your anniversary. What a fantastic hotel full of so much history. Was watching this at work with the captions on and did you say that Lincoln stayed there? I'd be interested to hear about some of the ghostly tales from this hotel and will look forward to the ghost tour video, I love anything a bit spooky! Scott

Yes Lincoln did stay here. And a bunch of other famous people of the time. It’s fun just walking around the hotel and learning historical facts of the area and the civil war. Where working on our ghost hunting video of this spooky old town. So keep an eye out. Thank you for watching.
