Aditya, you have a real lot of sang-froid to keep going with your presentation. The girl's just acting like she doesn't know what you're doing in her house. :-) The little old granny is super cute and real comfortable showing you how she makes her daily khana and really happy to see you enjoying it!

Lovely!! The simplicity of the ingredients and preparation is mouthwatering. I have seen other richer ways of preparing Jhunka with milk and all that but this looked better at the end. And for a fact, the girl and the old woman must be flummoxed to have an english speaking person in their modest kitchen. That is the reason they look blank. Not sad. Please understand.

I dont understand why Sanskruti herein below gave such a powerful , even critical commentary, on such a sweet video made by this dude Aditya. Thank you bro for going to those sweet people's home to get the recipe, the common man in Maharashtra eats; it's their favorite, a staple if you will, Jhunka Bhakar. I know because I spent 40 years of my life in Nagpur Maharashtra. Well done Aditya. Really enjoyed your video . I hope you will share some of the proceeds you get from youtube with these simple folks. That would be mighty kind of you. God bless.....Rajesh Sahu.... Los Angeles

aap ko lagta hai k Indian viewer needs English translation to understand what you are saying. kabhi socha Jin logo k sath aap baithe ho vo log kuchh bol nahi rahe hai..kyoki vo log intimidated mahsoos karte hai..apne desh mai apni bhasha bolne se sharmate hai. aap k pas opportunity hai apni rasoi kala ke sath sath apni bhasha explore karne ki...hamari sabhyta mai khana sirf jeebh aur pet ko nahi choota..dil dimag aur aatma ko chhuta hai..kau bana raha hai kis pyar se aur kaisi bhavnao se bana raha hai ye hamesha mahtvapurna raha hai....kitni bar ham khane pe jate hai bate karne ke liye...dil khulna mahtvapurna hai hamare liye. ..aur apni bhasha mai dil na sirf khulta hai..khilta hai.

Even today most people specially women in the interior parts of maharashtra are not comfortable with outsiders, that's the reason they might have been quiet. Don't assume and write anything. If you can't appreciate, atleast don't critize. Guys...pls grow up!!

he calls it millet and mispronounces Marathi name as jowahar ... I thought actual word is jowar (or jawaar) and it is not millet (I think) because Indian millet is baajraa. There is a completely unrelated Italian millet too which is not bajra. Jowar I think is sorghum as you have rightly pointed out.

For the bhakri, it is not jawahar but jowar (or jwar) flour which is not the same as wheat flour as erroneously pointed out by rohit.. That is sorghum flour, for the information of all you pretentious americanized people....
