It's not mandatory to stay in the ashram, but if you stay, you can feel the vibes close to Lord Shiva. There are also accommodation options outside the ashram, and you can visit the Dhyanalinga and Adiyogi statue. Everything is free of cost. You're most welcome, and I hope this helps!
