Thats true because we are in Dwapara yuga now, both the Dwapara yugas have experienced nuclear wars both in Mahabharat war and and also at the time of Heroshima. There was no technology in Kalyuga and people behaved like animals killing, raping and looting anyone they found and it was completely a wild way of living, in fact nothing has been even properly recorded how all the multiple cultures around world got destroyed at the time of kalyuga, everywhere we are digging now we are finding lingas and old structures, what happend to the world at that time no one knows, you & me talking through internet noway this is Kaliyuga. what you are seeing now as injustice is only the resedue of the kaliyuga. Technology is only possible in Dwapara yuga and now it gets more refined in the up comming decades you will see more changes in the society and also in the human mind, all this rigid straight jacket religions will die a natural death and people will become more independent and start seeking truth in their own way which has already started .First time the world is talking about human rights and animal rights, few centuries back they dint even consider native people as humans and killed them like animals but now the conciousness is coming in every mind is only because of raising awareness.

Cosmic cycles are imbricated in sub-yugas. We just entered Dwapara Yuga (Age of energy), in a Sub-Kali Yuga. From the perspective of Sri Yukteswar, there's ascendant and descendant yugas. See Boris Fritz great lectures about yugas.

I understood from the puranas ((ie. shiva purana, mahabharata and srimad bhagavatam) that kali yuga began with the death of Krishna which has been calculated to be around 3102 BC and that it lasts for 432000 years so we're early on in it now. I've seen conflicting writings on the exact lengths of the yugas but compared with this information from Sadhguru, are MUCH MUCH longer periods of time. It is difficult for me to comprehend that we are in dvapara now; the earth is crying out and the bull of Dharma is clearly teetering on one leg! It is said only bhakti yoga is possible in this time. Guruji, please help me understand.

I had not heard of Sri Yukteshwar's idea that some binary companion of the sun has majorly thrown off their orbital precessions enough so that kali yugas are only 1295 years long instead of 432000??? Hard to swallow at first blush! But definitely totally confounding the topic. Now i' m rather confused!

This is very stupid. We are in Kaliyuga and heading towards the end . We are heading towards the Golden Age which is Sat yuga. Treta ended 15K years before Krishna. THat means Dwapar Yuga is 15 K years . Kali Yuga started when Krishna left His body in 3103 BC, which gives Kaliyuga 5127 yrs this year.

1 Divine year = 360 Human years. So, total period of Kaliyuga would be 1200 divine years (1000 divine years' Kaliyuga + 100 divine years' Sandhyá + 100 divine years' Sandhyánsa) In human years, it would be 1200 divine years * 360 = 432,000 human years... The video doesn't align with me when I feel he hasn't noticed its 1926 divine years not human years??.
