The Balkans are home to many countries with many differences. Because of this, the Balkans tend to be a more hostile area of Europe with many of the countries within having issues with each other. I’m am albanian and we already had an empire, it was called the Illyrian Empire: it consisted of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy. (I think Slovenia too but not sure)
