I'm looking into this to control lights from behind the kit. We're a 4 piece so I'm looking for something I can control easily, I'm also controlling our iPad for tracks and my phone for our my ear mix. I'm hoping this is what I've been looking for!

This might just be - You should maybe consider to trigger you track from something like Ableton then send a midi cue from Ableton to your lighting software to trigger your lighting sequences.

@@LearnstageLightingGear I've used it once so far live and it works great with me controlling it behind the kit. Simple ques that I can tap tempo. Doing all the other stuff with Ableton means more to lug around / rely on. We like to keep it as simple yet engaging as possible.

Getting mine on Monday 🎉Can I isolate and control/dim individual fixtues from a group? For example: If I have 6 front wash lights in a group and want outside 4 off so I can have 2 centre stage for a solo acoustic set. How would I do that?

Was that image of the lighting the visualizer or an actual setup somewhere? How complicated is it to set up different stage setups in the visualization program?

Hey - That would be Capture, It can be complicated at the beginning, but once you are use to it it becomes easy.

Does this controller work with any lights? I just bought the Eliminator Furious five and the ADJ Starbursts light, and the controller I bought did not work. I just purchased this controller today amd it will be delivered tomorrow. I think the venue tetra controller and it didn't do anything for either of the lights I had hooked up to it

Yep, works with any lights. Profiles can be downloaded or created if they're not in the box by default.

I would just set it up as a Fog or Haze machine, find one with the same channels, OR create a fixture for your coldspark, but name the channel for the sparks "Fog"

When you patch it, if it's a smoke machine it automatically works via the smoke button!
