It is as though time never existed. As if space within a grain of sand equals the universe. Life loop. One of the most beautiful joiks.

I think 3:30 was the most meaningful part of this whole joik/music video. If I'm not mistaken, "Mun ja mun" means "I and myself". I wonder what that's significant of... Anyways, great song! Thanks for sharing.

Maybe u did'nt meen it.. But the Sámi as a whole are not lost or disappeared. Those closest to the southhern powers faced the harshest destinies. We still fight for existence!!

It is so sad that some languages (I mean languages of ethnical groups like sámi or similiar) are dying and countries in which this groups live do nothing to help in saving their specyfic culture and langauge. In concequence their own, unique music too. Why does we allow to do something like that. Terrifying! Finally there won't be any beautiful, unique music around the world and colorful, unusual languages. Only what we have every day. Sad but true :((

I predict a day where the Samis will join together and demand independance from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. I promise that on that i will stand by your side in support. The suffering the Samis have gone through in all the past centuries reminds me of the sufferings of my own people. Hang in there Sami people, teach your children your language and traditions and history and culture and keep your heads up, your day will come! themassacred dot com
