David almost a year ago I stumbled across your 1Password video, plus I had purchased my first Mac Pro laptop. Thanks to you and your videos I have come along way. I do have drones, and Final Cut Pro. By far you are a very awesome instructor. I spent 24 years in the military and know a good instructor when I see one. You are a very giving person. I cant wait till your next video on Final Cut Pro. Its gonna be a fun summer , because of your informative videos. I love creating content, and its all your fault !

Hi, David! Hmmm.. So, it'really worth it to go for Final Cut Pro than iMovie? I have been using iMovie for quite some time already. Love your video by the way!

Hi Daveman, this is all nice and clear, good job. I got two questioins: 1. Could you ellaborate on one specific issue though: what if there is just ONE silly seagull that is too loud, but the rest of the "group" is okay...? Meaning: if i have an audio (voiceover) and there is one particular point, for two seconds, when the narrator goes "over the limit", and it is only that 2 seconds i need to "quiet down", without effecting all the rest of audiotrack... then what? and 2. Is there any keyboard-combination that makes it easy to edit the audio track, so I don't have to bring the cursor to the right top corner and find that plus button to "leave a mark" in the auditorack? cheers

It's understandable that for this waste of your time you should compensated. I'd start with a complaint to KZbin and then initiate a lawsuit. Important people like yourself deserve to get exactly what you want in the precise form in which you want it.

Great Video! how do you mix going up and down with volume. Let's say I want the music to pause for the voice over then back on and then pause again and then back and so on. Not pause but go down in volume a bit to hear the voice speaking in certain parts.

Great video David. I like the idea of short, specific lessons. It makes it easier to search and find the help you need on a particular task. Why only 720p resolution? I usually go full-screen on my 27" iMac during these FCPX videos so I can see where exactly you're clicking. 720p looks a little grainy. Looking forward to future lessons!

David, one brief request - could you output your videos at 1080p or a higher resolution please? They're not as crisp and awesome at full screen as they could be. Also, I didn't know you could add keyframes like that. I always ⌥+click on the audio line thing to add the diamonds. But otherwise, great content and thanks for all the pointers. Was looking forward to FCP part 2, but shorter video tutorials works too! :D

Your videos are amazing as are all of your recommendations! Thank you. I am however having tremendous difficulty finding tutorials that specifically address "pitch" issues. I have a project I am working on now and for some reason the voiceover pitch is slight "off", a tad lower than my clients voices. Not sure what I am doing wrong, being new to FCP and an iMovie user is not helping me much. Could you refer me to any portions in your course PDF or other links? Thanks again! You are right about Adigold! WOW!!!

The man who puts seagull sounds on a video without seagulls is talking waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too much. This video could be 25% of its length without losing anything of the tutorial. Still did not find what I was looking for, and that's to change the curve of the volumen change.
