OK, so about to embark on this again and I've found your video. Problem is 2018 I sorted a heap of photos into Smart Albums and so I note not to delete these - can I copy them into 2018 Album, 2017 Album etc and then sub albums? How do I get rid of my smart album without deleting the photos

What if I have two separate laptops I want to back up? Everything on iCloud syncs between the two, but my music does not. Should I do a single time-machine for the laptop with more data on it, or should they have two separate backups, and if so should it be on two separate drives? Thanks!

My sister and I have purchased and downloaded this software. It is creating hours of frustration. How can we get support just to get the purchased software operating? Specifically, the "Use as System Photo Library" button is grayed out when we go to Photos>Settings. How can we contact you? I do not want to store the mail. I want it gone completely and never coming back. I want a place where I can drop the URL and place and have it completely scrubbed and never come back to my mail under any circumstance. . I get up every morning and scrub all the old emails that are junk and they keep on coming back. I don't wanna see any numbers on the left-hand side showing that I have something there. I will check the mail quickly if it looks like crap I'll throw it away immediately. I'm looking for a service that I can put the URL into and have it completely scrubbed or find out where it's coming from . This is an old video it's time for an upgrade. The six years is a long time in a galaxy far far away. I expect something at least every three months thank you.

I'm missing something here. EXAMPLE: I created a Album 2024, created a smart album 2024 with the range dates, I created another Smart album with the name "2024 Videos" with there same range but the Smart Album has the same dates but different name. Both albums has the sane files. How do I make only the video files go into the video smart album?

This video indeed helped me. Our mother passed away on 11/29/24. It took me awhile, but I finally got to the point where I'm productive again--and wanted to save the phone messages she left for me, that I've been holding onto but never really backed up onto another source. It took me 2 hours, but I got it done! 2 more notes to add: When titling your Voice Memos, unf Apple doesn't give you an option to copy & paste. So one has to manually input repetitive words like "Mom" on every saved-memo-title. A couple other wonky Apple issues, but other than that, I got it DONE thanks to your great tutorial! Whoo Hoo! Now all I have to do is teach my 2 sisters to do the same. Maybe I'll just send 'em this instead!

Awesome. Thank you so much. I did this on 3 different projects I am working on and went from over 1.3TB of storage used total for those 3 projects down to ~ 64 gigs! It is maddening how much space FCP can waste. I never had this problem with Premiere Pro. (Just got tired of monthly subscription fees.)
