The crayon is for quickly writing the actual weight on the adjustable KB. So one doesn‘t have to keep it in mind or open the bell to count the plates. 💪🏼

The next innovation i'm waiting for is a smaller diameter adjustable competition bell. Similar to the size difference between Prokettlebell's Apollo and Atlas Kettlebells. With 33mm handle. You were just on a teaching tour in europe, that's great. Unfortunately, it always takes a few years for innovations from the fitness sector to come from the USA to Europe. Thankˋs for the inspiring channel and sporting greetings from Germany 👍

I imagine that the crayon is great for marking the KB weight for others or to help those of us that are memory impaired. Also, viewers should note that using a ballpoint pen to break packing tape is much safer than a sexy knife if you’re clumsy with sharp things. 😊 Great video. You’re changing lives out there Mark.

The crayon lives! 🖍️😋 Adjusta-bell was a perfect addition to my training as a deconditioned individual. It absolutely made a difference in being able to progress without injury and I love that it'll be useful as I work with my kids too. Worth it, for sure.

I may be part of the minority, but I still need something lower weight than 8kg. I have both wrist and shoulder injuries, it is difficult for me to lift much. I also haven't lifted weights or exercised in more than 20 years. Just trying to do a simple curl is 6kg is firing pain signals. Are there other adjustable kettle bells out there with lower weights. I also imagine elderly people would like to start with lower weights.

I think i am gonna get one of these adjustable ones for my arm wrestling training. The Russians use KB to train the supernation and pronation by placing them on the floor on there aide, grabbing the handle and flipping them from pronation to supernation and back. Problem is a the weight jumps are high in traditional kettlebells.

Help!!! Just got my Bells of Steel (non-Wildman, sorry Mark. Was on sale) adjustable Kball and my Adjusta-bell red bottom with a pink crayon. I find the bottom does not fit flush to the top. The bottom is ever so slightly larger so the top fits in it; its not a smooth seam as it has a slight lip. Anyone else encounter this situation? Does it hinder (it really shouldn't) your kbelling? Am I just nit-picking or should I contact Adjusta-bell to get replacement? Thanks in advance.

Great concept and all but that's so pricey. For just an 8kg bell it would be cheaper and easier to just buy one and then work up a 12.

It would give you 8-11kg.
@antongalazyuk3117
@antongalazyuk3117 Жыл бұрын
@@ripdime1351 yes true but jumping 8 to 12 is really not as hard. The 8 would be good to train up wrist strength for clean, snatch, press and tgu before dropping reps down and moving to 12. Again I love this product but a 3d printed plastic shell should have gone for maybe 30 at most.
@GrantGardner80
@GrantGardner80 Жыл бұрын
@@antongalazyuk3117 As someone who got the kettlebell kings bell right after Mark talked about them and started (as a deconditioned individual) at the recommended at the time 14/16kg for guys and who then got injured two months in, the 3d printed bottom was a game changer. Yes, for people who are already active a 4kg jump can be managed without issue and fit those folks this maybe isn't needed. But for anyone who needs to start at 8kg, that 4kg jump is absolutely a difficult one and would require a lot of planning to do right. The adjusta-bell takes all that away. It may not be needed for everyone, but definitely shouldn't be dismissed out of hand.
@antongalazyuk3117
@antongalazyuk3117 Жыл бұрын
@@GrantGardner80 you could likely get an 8kg and a 10kg bell for under 80 bucks. Then sell those for 20 each and still come out ahead. My point is really that 3d printed plastic needs to be a lot cheaper.

@MarkWildman
@MarkWildman 9 ай бұрын
8 kg. the top by itself weighs seven. We haven’t found a way to make a kettle bell that gets all the way from 4 to 32K yet. The top simply isn’t strong enough to sustain the rest of the load.

First time I see someone so cheerful by tinkerig with their gear. More times than not it's done by neccesity. Are 32 kg bells challenging enought for you considering your level? I wouldn't be surprised if you started flinging 48k's or more with no trouble.

Kind of useless, way too cumbersome to use and can't go too heavy. Far too costly for a mass market appeal. Worst of it is an individual adjustable kettlebell is not even close to usefulness as sets of weights that you can rapidly grab different weights for your workout
