From watching this video I think 10” was too much of a jump from the club to the arc. I am 5’-8” and I would have liked to see them increase the handle length maybe 6” instead of 10”.

Im doing a Turkish get up version with 20 kg Bulgarian bag overhead but with multiple press 1rst press on the ground position next to the half bridge position then to kneeling position the forth to standing position the reverse again kneeling, bridge, ground if i start getup-get down but im doing it and with get down -get up then you start the 1rst press from standing and doing the others in reverse its a bit confusing to explain by writing 😁 but im sure you get it ,you think it's a good exercise maybe better from the classic Tgu i saw some guy in Instagram doing it with a 40 kg bell i think i my max is with my 24

No. TGU is not near enough. It is simply well below what is needed. The TGU is just simply a ”warm up” for real martiaml arts. The TGU does not protect the ribs nor arms nor spine like needed. Wishful thinking

So, what's the best workout then? If you're saying what you're saying about the tgu, I don't think you've ever done them.
@cucciafr68
@cucciafr68 8 сағат бұрын
What do you mean by protect the ribs, arms and spine? The TGU makes you use all of these throughout the workout, strengthening those areas, building on your structure. And besides, I don't think they mean this as the end-all be-all workout. They are just pointing out it is one of the best workouts with a kettlebell you can do.

Commenting on THIS video because I’ve watched a lot 😅 I am a performance strongman - so I have a functional amount of strength. I juggle 24KG kettlebells, bend short bars and long bars, rip decks of cards etc. I recently got a 11KG club and picked up your level 1 program - THIS is what has been missing from my program 💪 💫 I’m sold on the abs and arms without trying - but the doms and the legacy is really what has sold me for life on this work 🙏

Advice needed, my weekly routine at the moment consists of an upper body day, a lower body day and a day or 2 of grappling with a run thrown in somewhere. I would like to incorporate a kettlebell workout somewhere, do you think it would be best to throw in some swings at the end of the lower body session or have a seperate day where i do a circuit training KB workout involving swings, squats and presses? Just trying to work out what is best as i do not want to overtrain but i do also feel like im missing out by not using kettlebells. Thanks

Just choke up on the handle. A mace can do everything that a club can do (plus much more) once you learn to avoid hiring yourself with the extra choked up handle length. Club is an easier start for beginners, but mace is so fun

I just finished month 1 of this program. I love the Indian clubs section. I started out feeling completely uncoordinated but it’s getting better each day. This has been great for my shoulders. It’s really different from anything else I’ve tried. I find it fun. The other section is a strength workout that uses 4 basic weighted exercises throughout the month, increasing in number of sets each week, so even though it gets more challenging over time there’s never a point where you just can’t even do the exercises which is a problem with a lot of other programs that say they’re for beginners, but then you find out you have to be able to do pull-ups, pushups, jump switch lunges or whatever 😅 So I’m enjoying it and am definitely getting stronger and plan to continue now with a slightly heavier weight (my first attempt with a kettlebell). Thanks.

@@lucywallang4530 you don’t need much. They made it quite flexible, a dumbbell, a kettlebell, or even just water jug, and something that can serve as your first club. I got a 1 pound club from Amazon, but the program instructions said you could use a baseball bat, and I had dumbbells already so I started with those. Now I have purchased a kettlebell that’s a slight step up for me to do the second month and a 5 pound steel club also from Amazon. I think the club was in the 20 dollar range, the kettlebell was in the 40 buck range. I didn’t get the adex club. I can see why long term it could be a good investment especially for a guy who could use the full weight, but I’m unsure I’m going to need that many levels.
