Adjustable butt plate on a Browning O/ U Stock. Graco Easy to install! You can do this!

Just bought a Graco 575 S butt plate for my old Browning BT 99. I shoot trap in cold weather sometimes and being able to adjust it shorter for a winter coat is nice.

What would be the best way to enlarge the access hole in your stock so the LOP adjuster can fit in there?

I just used my dremal tool to open it up a little. Worked great. Hope this helps. PA

looks like its already been fitted to the stock in this video? any footage of it be fitted to the stock? the sanding process? did you use a jig?

Thanks for watching and commenting on my video. I did not use a jig. I traced out the end of the stock where I made my cut. Then I used a disc sander to grind the aluminum butt plate. It was a very messy job and didn’t want my camera equipment to get aluminum dust all over it. If you have the tools you can do it yourself. Not really hard just time consuming and a lot of fitting as you go. Hope this helps. PA
