Adjusting Headlights on my Jeep Wrangler TJ

This is very handy as I really need to do this and will probably do it tomorrow. I'm running the factory lights, and they are pointed at the sky (I rarely us high beames for there poor adjustment). Which, in turn, gets me flashed way more than I should for running stock headlights on low. The best flash I got was on the high way passing a big lifted tuck with a headache rack full of led flood lights, and they flashed me. It was like driving into the sun, and I was not the only one behind/off to the side of the truck.

Just new LEDs and they are way too high. Went to adjust and the adjusters wouldn’t turn the rounded out the torx. Any way I can rig it to make them shine lower.

T15 screwdriver will save a ton of time. Eliminates the need to remove bezels

DId you adjust them using the High or Low beams? I also have a 3rd adjustment screw, across from the main adjustment screw at the bottom. Cannot determine what it does.

Sinner I had this same issue on my TJ recently... and the Omix replacements are garbage. I found nice used assemblies on eBay. The pair were 100. Before installing them PB blast all the bolts loosen and tighten a little, WD40 the crap out of them and install. I could have probably done same w my originals if I wasn’t anxious to finish the job. ( mind you I’m 53 lol)... Kyle your vids are great. Thank you

Sinner the black headlight bucket/mount. Three bolts secure it to the back of the grill area and it has the three adj bolts on front.

do you know what the 3rd adjustment screw does, I just put new headlight bracket in because the old one was rusted and would not adjust, I got factory parts from jeep, they have 3 adjustments just like the old one did ??

It adjusts the depth of the headlight.

Alright sorry for bugging u so much about this recently, but I need some help on the muffler delete process. how were u even able to brake the bolts on the muffler? They are welded together on mine and there is no room to create leverage. Therefore I can’t even unscrew the bolts. What should i do?

KyleSVT yes but turns out my dad surprised me by taking the jeep to a muffler shop today lol! They cut off the muffler and welded a straight pipe. Thanks for the help! It sounds great btw
