Hi, I had a liver transplant 2 years ago and my hospital in the United Kingdom just told us that lime is no longer allowed as it has a similar effect like grapefruit does. Just thought I'd tell you as it might be worth checking with your team if lime drinks are ok to drink. Love your vlogs, sending lots of love xxx ❤ xxx

Oh Ollie is priceless! My big ole husky, 75 pounds, has one toy he likes. A squeaky hamburger thing. He tears up anything he gets quickly but he holds that squeaky hamburger gently in his big ole mouth. Fur babies, what would we do without them.

I don't know if you've tried this Mary, but one of my tricks for bad headaches is soaking my feet in hot water while putting an ice pack on the back of my neck. I'm so glad that you were able to attend church on Sunday to be part of that special service!

Grapefruit unfortunately interacts with lots of different medications. I can’t eat it either! I’m glad you found lemon and lime to be just as good 😊🍋

I know you guys knew chronically Jacquie. She had harlow trained to pick up her toys and put them in a basket. An open basket would still contain them but make them transferable. Maybe it's also something that you could train ollie to do once you guys move especially if he ends up having to retire at some point I can't see why bringing things in his mouth or to you are things he would need to stop especially of it's due to health and he may not want to not work. Picking up his toys could be fun for him.

I am on a medication that reduces my mucus production. It's done wonders for me, but I do think sometimes I have a tendency to feel the mucus that I do have kind of stick in my chest. Usually I use my inhaler or I just wait until it's ready to come up. It's been an adjustment but mostly great.😀👋

Exciting news re Vertex in England. The supreme court ruled the closure of parliament was illegal. Borris Johnson the prime minister lied to the queen and had to apologise to her! A vote of no confidence in the Tory government is expected any day, A general election will then happen and if the Labour party get into government Vertex will be available free of charge to anyone one who need it. Pray that things go in the right direction . .. PS Olly and his toy box was too funny !xxx

It’s incredible how many drugs interact with grapefruit/grapefruit juice-I can’t have it either-its because of my antidepressants and rheumatoid arthritis drugs. I have a new go to too-it’s Schweppes flavoured mineral waters (lots of flavours available here in Australia)-& no sugar or artificial sweeteners-which upsets my tummy!!

With the flu season coming up soon are there any precautions you apply, Mary? I've noticed that I'm a lot more nervous about regular germs than you - for example, I don't eat directly out of food bags/containers; I wipe down my prescription bottles with anti-bacterial wipes or alcohol prep pads, and I make sure to wash my hair if a stranger is sneezing or coughing around me and I immediately wash all my clothing after going to a doctor's office if anyone's sick but especially after going to urgent care or hospital. I've noticed that you live your life a lot less worried than me and I'm jealous lol 😂 but I want to know if your doctors have said it's not important to be as scrupulous as I am. I'm working with my therapist to not worry about infection and any advice would be greatly appreciated, girly!!! - C

Hi there! Can I ask a probably really naive question? If there are medications that would help with CF but you can't take them because of the challenges with your liver - are you better off to get a liver transplant so that you could then take those medications? I really enjoyed your FB live the other night! I'm not sure if you saw my answer to how I found you but I found you on KZbin when I was searching for "overcoming obstacles" and your video titled "I'll always be me!" was a suggested video on the right side. I've been watching every day since then - I'm hooked! Also, your love of tiny things reminds me so much of my daughter-in-law! It adds moisture and the salt in it attracts water to the airways which thins the mucous making it easier to cough out.
