Thanks, That was one of the few things i find helpful on youtube. This is my second year in college (total is 7 years) i like it much better than high school, but there is the addition of responsibility which can be hard sometimes.

I'm stressed as well because of responsibility. But my mom told me that in the long term, things become repetitive and it is not a shock to you unlike studying where you have to learn new things every week. So even though you are responsible, it's not as shocking.
@DayAndNightTo20993 ай бұрын
@screamtheguy6425 it does get easier cuz you will be more alert and thoughtful about important things. but most importantly, i find it rewarding, especially if you dont screw up too much lol, i had many failings like in getting driving licence and some exams, i failed everynow and then due to my laziness and simply being dumb, but i made come backs and it feels very rewarding. This was the hardest year in my life, my college first year only accept 100 people from total of 500, all these 500 are about top 10% of highschool. I think having a clear goal is very important, my goal is clear and i will sacrifice many things for it, like not playing video games and studying all week, sleeping 3 hours for multiple days if i had too. Its good to have a goal and a reason for it, also you should do something that gives and links motivation to your goal, so you will find it fun and take things seriously. Challenges are the most fun things if you get your act together. Sorry if this is long but this is basically how i passed my hardest year in life. Just remember why you are doing what you are doing and set priorities

The point about not needing to think about work after is so valid. School is so much harder than actually working because you always have assignments that you have to do outside of classtime, which is already scheduled weirdly as hell. Like there could be one class at 8am but then the next day you have class starting at 4pm and its so hard to plan around that. Ive only done a 4 month co op tho so maybe its more stressful in the long run or something.

I just graduated too a few months ago and I was scared of it. However I’m not even employed yet I’m literally just traveling for some time before I go into a full time job. But I’m a lot less stressed than before with all the assignments and projects. I worked part time during school but I do think I’ll still be less stressed even when I get work cause I’ll never have to worry about school grades again.

Gotta enjoy the small things. After finishing my mandatory military service a regular job feels nice compared to the +12 hour days during service. Also getting to sleep in your own bed each night is goated.

Thanks man, I'm still in summer break transitioning to Sophomore Year Highschool, But I keep stressing out about Graduating high school, Finding a collage, than graduating that collage and finding a job. Even when I've never experienced these stuff, I can't help but stress and think about it, but this really helped relieve my anxiety about work.

Hey man, I’m 35 years old and I don’t have any specific answers for you but I have one good general answer: you’re going to figure it out, it’s going to be alright. You won’t figure it out how I did and what’s alright for me may not be alright for you, but you are going to figure it out and it is all going to be alright. You’re already on your way.

My parents are poor as shit (as am I), and working a job is still a thousand times less stressful for me than college ever was. I get to go home and not worry about a single god damn thing I did at work. College is pretty much constant due to the workload and the lack of boundaries. Even when I’d try to self-impose boundaries, it would go badly. I work a pretty stressful and physically strenuous job, too, so it’s not like I’m sitting on my ass doing some cushy job either.
