Adjusting WP suspension forks | Preload, Compression damping and Rebound damping adjustment

I'm starting to get the bike ready to so I can get out and enjoy it. The suspension is the first port of call because I've worked on the rear shock but haven't done anything to the front. Suspension adjustment isn’t a dark art 👍🏻

@@MALVSMACHINE if the front feels very soft and with a slight movement of the handlebars the whole bike shakes, would I go stiffer?

Hi Billy. I haven’t really experienced what you’re feeling there but it does sound like the suspension is too soft and you could be going through the travel quite quickly - the rebound may be a bit too slow as well? It would probably be best to reset back to the standard setting and then work from there, to find what feels better for wherever you’re riding.

Can you tell me how they are connect, when you change the clickers on a left fork (compreshion) how its change settings on the other one (right fork)

Hi. They’re not connected. Each leg has its own function.

@@kaloqnkuzev9802each fork has its own function and is adjusted exactly as I say in the video: Left fork - white adjuster is compression damping. Right fork - red adjuster is rebound.

@@MALVSMACHINE perhaps you don't know the fork, the left fork regulates only the high speeds, while the right one regulates the low speeds and the rebound, the right fork does 65/70% of the work, turning the right wheel does not only dampen the rebound but the compression at low speeds is also dampened. Sorry for my bad English.

@@osvaldodavia8844 I know the forks, and I know that you can only adjust the compression damping, rebound damping, and preload. And that’s what I talk about in this video: Left leg - compression damping. Right leg - rebound damping. Both legs - preload adjustment. This information offered in the video is available in the Husqvarna User manual. 👍🏻

How to adjust high (long) of this wp air suspension (I ve bought the bike where it is 5cm shorter than it should be)?

Hi! The only way I know to adjust the suspension so that it sits higher up the travel is by adding more preload but if the bike was owned by someone else, they may have modified the suspension or it may need a service.

I had to replace my left inner fork, do you know if I need to readjust compression settings now?

Sorry mate, I’ve not rebuilt my forks so am not sure of what needs to be done to these particular forks before and after they are serviced. When I rebuilt my sports bike forks, all the adjusters had to be all wound out/loosened off and then setup again when they were rebuilt but I don’t know if that’s the same with the WP forks.

I hear blue bikes are faster than white bikes. Have you considered painting your bike to amp up the HP?

I can confirm that is true because I have a blue bike and it’s way faster than the white one.
