G'day Pete, love the vids mate, I'm a self taught or Pete taught welder if you like. Dabble in stick & gasless from time to time. I find your videos very helpful, no b.s. straight to the point. Hope to buy a gas bottle eventually and play with that. Anyway keep'm coming mate, see ya!

Pete, got a problem with my mig. Done everything that your video says to do. Drive roller and torch are new. I'll be welding away then it will snarle up after the drive roller. Theres always 5-10mm of wire at torch end. Just a bugger to be fair. Ive changed wire rolls and still got this problem. Its in the 1mm grove

Hello dear Learning a lot from your videos 👍 Was wondering about the flux core wire roller K groove versus the V groove ones ... What difference would it make if i use the V groove for flux core welding ? Will it affect the quality of the welds in any way ? Thanks a lot and keep it up !
@petestools2 жыл бұрын
I find v grove tends to crush my wire because of the flux core inside it. Thanks for watching mate.

Best, I have a question maybe it's a stupid question but I've only seen my MIG welding machine and no others. I have a cheap $120 MIG machine. Do all devices have the same size feed rollers and what diameter do they have. I hope i get an answer. Thank you in advance Regards Raymond

No smaller machines have small rollers

Thanks for that, my Miller 212 won't work with 025. .7mm.....I can't get it to stop birds nesting no matter what. I'll try your method, but on sheet metal, I still don't think it will work.

@@petestools Haven't had the opportunity. I'm working on another project right now, but I'll try it when I'm welding sheet metal again. Thanks
