Great interview with Luana. I had forgotten how much younger she is than Fernanda who I believe turns 34 this weekend. I became a fan of Nervosa the first time I saw the music video for the song Death! which was probably 9 years ago. Brutal video, brutal music by Fernanda and Prika and brutal lyrics (very brutal) by Prika. I became an immediate fan of Fernanda and for several years Nervosa was the only all female band I listened to regularly. Luana might have been only 19 when she joined Nervosa and her first album with the band, Downfall of Mankind, is still my favorite Nervosa album. I was very disappointed when Nervosa fell apart but was excited that Fernanda and Luana formed Crypta. The new Crypta album is fantastic and Fernanda's vocals keep getting better (in my opinion, the best female metal vocalists in the world are Tatiana, Fernanda and Alissa). Luana will keep getting better as a drummer because of her hard work and talent and the fact she is in a band with three other world class musicians.

This is so awesome. Luana is INCREDIBLE. I absolutely love what she does, she is so good and I am so glad to have some badass women drummers in the metal scene. We need more like her. Thanks for the interview!
