I am Ethiopian and I don't understand a word what this guy is singing about coz he is singing in Tigrinya language which the language of Northern Ethiopians from the Tigray region. I am Amharic and Oromfia speaker but yet I love this song despite the fact I don't understand. lol Unlike Somalia in Ethiopia there are over 80 ethnic groups and all of them speak their own language and have their own culture. I have been to Ethiopia July 2022, it was my first time there, I enjoyed my time, I think I am lucky to have the chance to visit few cities down to the south. I have seen Bishoftu (Dabre ziet), I ate fish in Zwei, travelled to Hawassa (Fikir Hike), Shashameni, Agri Salam and other. I've learned some Amharic and Oromia Fa. However, I was not lucky enough to learn Tigringa. Although I don't understand a word of it, I love this song so much, I wish if I could make friends from all over Ethiopia.
