If your mother is from Eritrea how you said you are from America

I know there are many Eritreans everywhere. But you are not ashamed to say i am an American.
Whoever wrote this song, it could easily categorized as a futuristic in contemporary Tigrigna music. O’ boy! Who could have played it eloquently better that the mesmerizing and gifted vocalist Eden Kesete? It was a perfect choice.

@@okbaygoitom3557 Everywhere. I believe this genre is on the verge of breaking through globally. Give it 2-3 years and guayla will be the new reggaeton. QaH by Timnit Welday already had everything a song needs to hit global charts, and it was just bad luck it didn't. I've been listening to world music for decades, and I've seen various nations' attempts at creating their own pop music rooted in local musical traditions. Very few of those attempts yield results as good as new Tigrinya music. I love Eden. What I hear in her singing is a range of expression that could cover several genres. She can do Janis Joplin grittiness and she can do Enya dreaminess. I think she will eventually explore other genres (that reggae insert at 1:14 is awesomesauce!). And I hope she, like Feven Tsegay, will eventually have enough negotiating power to demand from producers not to massacre her voice with autotune. It isn't actually that bad in this song, but there are much worse examples.
Searching for contemporary African music, I found this video... is very different, but all this is so really good! I don't stop of hear this song and I loved the singer ♥️ Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
