Why do ppl think it’s unrealistic ? Reality is far darker! People have open marriages. People have affairs. Women leave their husbands and kids for other men. Happens in all sections of society, lower, middle and upper. People just aren’t used to seeing it depicted on tv. And if anything else, Mehwish is a little mellow. Such type of money and power hungry women don’t blink an eye before leaving their husband and kiddos!

This happens in all sections of society but not in the same frequency. In more poor sections of society this happens less as women are given less opportunities to do this. In the more wealthy part of society that has a more western mindset this happens more. I don't think people find this unrealistic - I haven't really seen comments saying that this is unrealistic. What I gather from the comments is that people are against showing this as they think it will promote and make this behaviour acceptable and not that it's unrealistic. I think people are noticing how Pakistani tv shows (and movies) are becoming more and more bold and are writing against that and not that it's unrealistic.

Hey Hasan, tell this to Humayun Sir, I was at the Manchester Airport a few weeks ago and watching the latest episode of MPTH on KZbin while waiting for the boarding to start in a few hours, an Indian lady sitting nearby noticed what I was watching and told me she follows this drama from India every week, loves all 3 characters, thinks Pakistani dramas reflect real life situations and our actors are so much more natural than Indian actors. This drama has made our nation's art profile even higher, nor even exaggerating a bit.
