it seems to me that the frontrunners of the family feud in duniyapur have become so desensitized in their pursuit of their revenge and vengeance. that they have lost their ability of compassion and empathy. the dadi who is a sa survivor herself sends her granddaughter to the same man who is her perpetrator . she completly disregards the history and misfortune she went through. the granddaughter becomes a stepping stone to her destinationwhich is the nawabs downfall. i think the writer has tried to show that the hotheadedness of revenge has affected them to such an extent that they fail to see each other humans . it also shows the patriarchal mindset and son loving aspect of the old rural female. when the nawab suggests a deal of their son in exchange of their daughter she says yes. it shows her belief that a male will further her plans , and if she has to give up a daughter for that to happen she thinks of it as a steal. all this shows how desensitized she has become . to her , her family is nothing but a means for her plan and she is willing to give some of them up for duniyapur .
