He was OBVIOUSLY guilty. Adnan Syed premeditated the killing of Hae Min Lee. Anyone capable of critical thinking and an open mind can see that from the evidence. Syed showed Lee's body to Jay Wilds in the trunk. He lent his car to Jay in order to lure Lee with the lie that his was in the shop. He also lent his cell phone so he could call Jay after he killed Hae Lee. He hung out with Jay, Jennifer Pusateri and others acting like a real life zombie OR someone who just committed murder. He practically admitted it when the police called looking for Hae. Jay Wild also told Jennifer Pusateria that Adnan strangled Hae Min Lee, a fact not released by the authorities. Jennifer picked up Jay at Westview Mall after Adnan buried Lee and disposed of shovels there. Despite Jay's defensive, but understandable inconsistencies, why would he lie and implicate himself? This case is obvious, which is why Adnan was convicted

He was not convicted due to prejudice on his race or religion in '99, he got convicted because all evidences point to him, his accomplice confessed and he has no alibi but had very strong motive to kill his ex-gf.

While i get all the data by which everyone is going on, that still leaves a big mistery in this case even if adnan didnt do it . How in the effing earth did jay know where her car was parked?. My only theory at this time is that jay knew one or both of those two fools and jay being jelous of the relationship between adnnan and jay's girlfriend he decided to help kill lee and frame adnan with one of those degenerates knowing full well that they would never be linked to him since he barely knew them and they only made contact on the streets thus no phone records, so toguether they followed lee, killed her and parted ways to never be seen again. All the while jay takes care of framing adnan and he does a decent job at it since he had all the right conditions for it. A preplanned murder by a brilliant ahole.

She never had a Asian boyfriend. She had a white boyfriend who could've done it. Or the black guy who happened to stumble upon her body or the one who claimed that Adnan killed her and gave conflicting stories everytime he spoke. Someone took that girls life and I don't think the color of their skin or cultural background is what's important.

Also, the timecards were investigated by Adnan's own defense team, it was proven you couldn't alter the timecards after the fact. You're just an idiot who hates the cops even when they're right, defends Adnan cuz he's a brown Muslim, and want to just blame the white guy cuz you're jealous the white dude once again took the hot Asian girl away from that stalker punk.

But actually believe or not if you read the book Adnan’s story it explains how jay was manipulated by the police to say that he was with Adnan when he killed Hae. As they did further more research they explain that jay had no idea about the murder he was just saying what the police wanted him to say . I believe that Don hae’s bf at the time of her disappearance killed her .
