The song caused great resentment among Japan's elderly for her critical view of Japanese working life. The song reached 100 million plays on YT after just 148 days. She is now on her first world tour, Asia Europe and right now in the USA.

Ah-doh is the correct pronounciation, so you were right from the start. To the song and the rather "honest" lyrics; it triggered a rather big controversy in Japan because it sarcastically and harshly criticizes work culture, one of the pillars of Japanese society. The fact that a, at that time, 17 year old girl sings it only poured oil in the fire because work is still one of the most male-dominated parts of Japanese society and the vast majority of people in charge are between 50 and 65 year old men. She unintentionally became the voice of the young people frustrated with archaic rules in the workplace, like pouring drinks for your boss at the after work drinking party or listening to him ramble on about his glory days 20 or 30 years ago, etc. Her song "Watashi wa Mondaisaku", or "I'm a Controversy" in English, is kind of a follow up about the uproar Usseewa generated and how she felt about all of it.
