That last line, "As a supporting character, I'd be really happy if I could be a support to someone's life" made me tear up. I've been listening intently to this, saying I got emotional would be an understatement. Ado is such a large inspiration to me. I can relate to her feelings of inferiority, it warms my heart to see her pursue her passion.

And, from the way it sounded, she didn't even know that Ado was the supporting actor until she had established herself. She dawned the mask, and truly made it shine as if her story was written amongst the stars.

@SyM-Prisoner627 I think she did understand that Ado was meant to be a name for a supporting character in plays. After all, she had found the definition in a book, and she had mainly talked about how rough it was not being an "average" kid who fit in in elementary/middle/high school. She definitely knew what she was doing, and since shes a lyric composer, she can definitely plan out things like these videos. Ado just saved that point as an ending point because she probably just wanted to be done with it lol

"My goal is to hold a solo concert in a big venue" 🥺 Watching this after hearing all of her songs in one piece red and recently seeing her first (second I believe? But this one seems to be on a much bigger scale) concert with a ton of fans makes my heart melt. Hearing Ado talk about the insecurity of singing in front of sound engineers and preferring to record alone to then perform live in front of a ton of people makes me so happy for her! If Ado EVER comes to the US and a concert is close enough to me, I'm buying those tickets IN A HEART BEAT. Ado for me is one of the GOAT.

Gosh, I really hope Ado can gain some more confidence in herself and her singing. Her songs are always so powerful that even if they don't suit my current mood or tastes, I still find them oddly compelling. I often find myself coming back to listen to some of her songs that I didn't originally like because they're so catchy, meaningful, and inspiring.

I don't know much about music but her songs are something even I can understand because sometimes I feel like can't do anything but she taught me that I can I just haven't found it. Her Gira Gira is my favorite because the song represented how I was feeling during that time and that song touched my heart and I will never forget the feeling I had when listening to it that song was the second song to make me cry and I hold it special to me.

They have so much meaning that even as someone who doesn't speak japanes, you can tell from her voice when she sings. Taking a look at the lyrics will just blow you away more. I have listend to her songs to pick me up from a bad mood, to feel like someone else understands how i feel, and even to give myself a little bit of confidence. whats even more amazing is that you can literally get all that from one song if you listen from a diffrent perspective. Im so glad that I listen to your music ado and I really look forward to hearing your beutiful, strong, and uplifting voice in the furture.

Behind these amazing songs.. that powerful, soft, strong, lovely, awesome voice we hear, is only a human pursuing her dream and what she loves to do. "Ado is the supporting actor. As a supporting character, I'd be really happy if I could be a support to someone's life" Now those are verse worthy lyrics geeeeez Thank you Ado for everything. You have supported so many people already, and you are truly an inspiration for us all. For those who feel inadequate, for those who feel powerless, for those who feel lost, you are our voice. And you ring loud. And because of you, we're finding our voices too. And we will be heard

Ado having such strong confident vocals when she sings, and then having this human, soft, insecure side too is the perfect balance. This is why her music reaches so deep and people keep supporting her work- she sings from the very core of her soul- Keep up the amazing work Ado!!!
The fact she isn't confident in her singing is crazy to me. She has my favorite singing voice I've ever heard from any artist ever. The way she can switch from an angelic softness to a gutteral grit is amazing and is all so amazing to hear. I've been listening to ado for about 3 years now and is my favorite musical artist, not a single song I don't like. Keep up the great work and I hope you come to the Pacific Northwest someday!
Her speaking voice is as intoxicating as her singing voice. I read a transcription of an interview which I think was taken from this. As incredible as she is as a singer, she's very relatable as a human being.
I wish she could see herself through my eyes. She already is my support. There have been days where I just can't get myself up the seat, feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, sad, mad, useless. But Ado has brought up so much energy to me. I can get my frustration and sadness out my system while singing along to her (obviously sounding horrendous lol but what's important is that I actually get to feel better). She is also one of the reasons I'm slowly learning japanese again, a language I stopped paying attention to some years ago even though I love it. I never thought an artist could make me feel such strong feelings, but Ado makes it real. I would pay to watch and listen to her singing in a concert or something. I really, really like her. Thanks for letting us see what you can do Ado
That last line really made me start tearing up on the spot because Ado songs has really helped me out a ton

Ado deserves all the love and attention she's getting. She's talented, strong and full of emotion. Her rawness is what keeps me coming back. Keep on rising!
Hey Ado, I just wanted to let you know that you ARE being a support to people's lives, including mine. Your music has helped me throughout life countless times, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to believe that you are my most favorite artist that I have ever listened to. If I felt depressed, I would listen to your music. If I wanted to go to the gym, I would listen to your music. If I wanted to get excited and hype myself up before a football game that I would eventually be playing in, I would listen to your music. I could even say that your music was pretty much therapy for me in a way. It's crazy how much you've grown as a singer, and I can only feel nothing but utmost content as I see your channel grow even bigger as the years come. Normally, I never 'fangirl' over an artist. I've never even dared to brag about liking an artist either, but that pretty much changed when I began listening to you. I vividly remember when I was starting to get into J-pop, and I remember your song, 'Readymade,' coming into the playlist. Your voice astounded me like never before, and I instantly put that song into my liked playlist. It was like I had found the jackpot in an arcade, really. When I began listening to your other songs, I started to realize that you weren't really just some music artist who got lucky with their tinkering of music and only had one song that was good like many other artists. No, you were extraordinarily talented. Every song of yours was different in a way, yet I felt graced to hear each one. "oh shit lmao this singers beautiful wtf lol." -my thought process as I began listening to ado's other songs seriously, you could sing anything and i'd love it lmao. I know there's a language barrier here since you're Japanese and I am American, so I can only hope that you are aware that your voice is helping other's in life, just as it does mine. You're extremely talented Ado! Take pride in that! Please continue making music and have fun as the years go by! (cant wait for dat album fr fr)

Wanna know something buddy ,you are also talented in writing long comments ! Don't get me wrong .I am appreciating it
Not going to lie I was a bit shocked when watching this. Throughout middle school I have always looked down on myself. When I started going to grade 9 I wanted to change that. When Ado posted her One Piece movie songs those were the songs that inspired me to start singing. One year later I am still very low on confidence but my love for singing has grown. Ado is a perfect example of us being our worst critiques. Since she is so amazing and talented with her music she was always someone I looked up to the most in singing and in general. For anyone born out there with 0 talent, "bad" looks (even though looks are subjective therefore anyone could be pretty), or just insanely low self esteem realize that as a human you are capable of anything. If you have the passion and love for something that is better than having the talent without the passion. Just continue on, practice what you love, and instead of beating yourself down for it realize how much you're going to/did improve. Do it for the results but also do it for the journey.
Hopefully Ado can soon realize that she has talents that are very unique and that the songs that she sings, whether original or cover, is inspiring and relatable to many people. I'm an example, before I found her I had no path that I was looking at in life. After I found out about Ado though, I decided that I am going to be a singer but not just any singer, I want to learn Japanese more and be a Japanese singer and maybe even a singer like Ado, who keeps her face hidden. I have multiple goals now but a main one is to meet her in person and while it is hard to do, I'm willing to do it. We are all supporting you Ado.

2 and a half years have passed since the release of this video and seeing it now. Listening her saying that her goal was to hold a solo concert in a big venue and knowing the tour that she did 4 months ago makes me so happy that she gets the attention she deserves and that she not only able to perform worldwide but have all the places she performed sold out. I truly hope that things have changed in the last two years and that she started appreciating herself more because it is so sad hearing that she can't love herself because of her past.I also hope that it won't get any worse with the popularity, instead the love she is getting from people worldwide cures her soul and heart. I mean bro I'm from Greece and she is in my top 5 artists of all time, people literally from every corner of this world are listening to her, she has become that big and that great and she deserves even more.

I don't know if anyone is going to read this but some times you just have to do whatever you want dont say it to everyone, just keep your dream tell it to the people you trust the most if u want but transform that desire into reality.
This was posted a year ago from the time I’m writing this but the last words of her saying “I wish I can be a support to someone’s life” really caught me. Her songs hold so much meaning (especially deep meaning), it’s not even funny. That line especially made me emotional. She’s the type of person that every person can relate to in some way, from having that crippling anxiety, to feeling like you aren’t worth anything, and to not doing well in school possibly due to being depressed. I wish I found out who Ado was earlier because I bet I would’ve still fell in love with her and her music back then when Usseewa was on NO. 1 on the charts. She holds a special place in our hearts. I found it upsetting that she sometimes still felt like her singing wasn’t that good, I wish she knew how MILLIONS feel about her singing. I especially AM IN LOVE with it. It has that gray and powerful feeling in it that is almost harsh, nearly like you’re venting about your problems/feelings POWERFULLY. If she ever goes on a international tour to a location near me, I’M definitely buying those tickets.
"I'd be really happy if I could be a support to someone's life"... Well. Ado's music has been a huge support! Her songs were my soundtrack while I was working through graduate school - the beats kept me up, and her voice helped me focus. Really, I can't thank Ado enough for that. I guess, since she helped me through such a rough period of time, I'll be here to listen to her songs and lend her support (as much as a single viewer can!) as long as she wishes to keep singing. Much love! ❤
