Hi, Im doing exactly the same in ANIMATE CC 2018 for sound and i cant hear anything being played. Unless i create a keyframe far down my timeline then i can see the audio waveform stretch out and it plays against the playheads movement. Or when i play the timeline. Publish gives me an audio-less result with only my photos with buttons on display. Properties for the sound shows only EVENT from the drop-down with other options greyed out. Can someone help.

ScootalooTakesFlight check the audio format .. mp3 files are acceptable...!! or you may use soundbooth/audition to convert the audio into *.asnd format. this will certainly be importable in animate. hope this helps

Hey there.. A big thank you for your help on this video.. I use Adobe flash for almost 10 years and the use of buttons seems to be a bit different within HTML Canvass... Am I correct i that you place the actions on the action layer and NOT on the button? Publishing in HTML 5 Canvass...

After AS2 ,in action script 3 actions is being inserted into actions layer not straight into elements/buttons. So yeah you place actions in action layer.HTML5 btw is pain in the butt , have to learn javascript now... :(
