By activating the "Direct Selection Tool" (A) and then round off the shapes :)

Why at time 1:50 you create a duplicate and lock the top layer. Why is this done? I have seen you do this on other videos, but I can't put my finger on why this is done. Understanding will help me come up with alternate ways of accomplishing the same task. Thanks. Love your videos.

Live paint is excellent to fill in colour with the presence of gaps in the features, as opposed to the normal colouring which you need to close the shapes to fill the shapes without the colours escaping. I get why you think so, its very difficult in terms of layers control and shapes overlapping, You can do all that if you utilise the hide feature and lock feature, anything you lock or hide will not be movable, so you can focus on the shapes that you want to change. In a word, frustrating. The background music is distracting. You talk too fast You move through the process too fast You skip steps such as when you change from ellipse tool to the select tool, without alerting the viewer. This leaves us scratching out heads trying to figure out what you did, and why our screens do not look the same as yours. I'm pretty sure you are skipping other steps too, since when I dragged the blue box down to the red box, my screen did not have the same options showing in the layers panel. Your fans may love this, but the rest of us don't.
