But are there any chance that i may use the head of this snake on a new mascot logo project, or do you claim copyright for this artwork? Because I had this idea where the snake was shaped around a globe, so it symbolized the Midgard serpent from The Nordic Mythology in a mascot logo :)

Pictures, like in the bear logo, he traced over a picture of a bear.

I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and assume that he thought it out in his head beforehand, then drew It on a piece of paper. He then took a photo of that with his phone and uploaded it via airdrop. He then dragged it from "all files" directly to illustrator, then traced that.

It's as close to a tutorial as it gets. You see all the techniques used to create what she/he created. This is very valuable. First and foremost however is to learn pen tool. It's really useful.
