Mascot/Sporty/Esport Text Logo Design Tutorial V3 in Illustrator CC 2018

In this Tutorial, we are going to create a Mascot or Esport styled Text or Logo in Illustrator CC. This is V3. The other 2 are linked down below.

So we are going to start off by opening Illustrator and creating our main text (Esports). The Font that is used is called SUBSCPACE. We will use the Warp Option to Warp the text and give a perspective look to the text. Then, we will offset the text and add colors and gradients to it. We will make a copy of the larger layer and bring it down to make it look like its 3D. Next, we will repeat the same process for the Lower Text (Text) and add a gradient again. Finally we will merge all the Layers and offset them 2 times to create a Dark Background and a Bright Stroke to make the Entire Logo or Text Pop.

I got Adobe illustrator like literally couple minutes ago and decided to follow this tutorial even when I can't change the color of a single font. So I have to pause this tutorial and watch other for simple things

If anyone else has a problem with the align center button, here's a fix that worked for me: Align to artboard is an option in the panel. In align tab, find this setting, yours probably will be Align to the selection, make sure you set it to align to the artboard so that it works just like in the video.

4:10 when you click on the line to make an anchor point it is created perfectly on top of the line, do you have any solution ??? because when I click it it creates the anchor point below or above the line.

You need to be using CS6 and above

5:17 press shortcut 'E' if you having issue Free Transform Tools not appearing in your toolbox. I have that problem for 3 days, it was very stressful.. just now i found it.. simply just press 'E'.. duhh Hope this will help..

Make sure you have the direct selection tool.

Add a gradient, create glow by using a soft brush, duplicate the text and reduce opacity.

Nope. If the expand command is greyed out, that means that the path is already expanded. Try to ungroup the element.
