Congratulations Kevin on your new job, PhD and getting married! This is very useful video and I will always be very thankful to you for teaching me illustrator. You still have some of the best illustrator videos specifically for us scientists! I'm now making some decent images for my thesis using your tips and tricks! Good luck with everything! Would you mind connecting on LinkedIn?

Not at all - just send a message saying who you are (I typically turn down connection requests from random people).

Hello :) Thanks a lot for all the tips. Could you show us how you did the annual review color pannel? :)

Same way I did the one from the plos article. AR has a style sheet somewhere on their website, I simply opened it in illustrator, then used the eyedropper to grab the colors.

Well I tried to find that sheet, without any luck! That's why I asked you. Thanks so much for your kindness.

My apologies - I just went and looked, it seems that I got the style sheet in an e-mail from the editor I was working with. I'm not sure if they share it publicly, so I don't want to send the document without permission. But I'm happy to share these colors with you: adobe.ly/2cpnZmU

OMG I'm so grateful to you! Many thanks :) I'm a master student, and I'm preparing my defense. Without these videos it wouldn't be possible for me to make my own conclunding picture from scratch. Really excited for the next one :D On another video I saw a skull (resembling death), did you make it too?

Pretty sure I just stole that from wikimedia commons.
