Hi love u for doing photos but I can't afford an expensive tablet due to being on a fixed income and I wanted to know how to achieve the same result with a mouse or which tablet could I purchase that work well with illustrator or photoshop or both. I attend the NY Public library here in New York City so I really like to strengthen my skills and thank you in advance.

Grab a piece of paper and a pencil. Work with what you have. I will be doing a combination of tablet and pencil tutorials so you can see the overlap. You can also print out the photo and use tracing paper to get the same tracing effect. The tablet I have in the tutorial you can purchase for under $90 on Amazon. (Wacom Intuos 3) There are some pretty cheap options available if you aren't looking at the display tablets (like a Cintiq) *I should also note that literally every tutorial on this channel besides this one has been drawn on paper first. So don't stress about if you have or don't have a tablet. Work on your drawing skills. Hope that gives you a little insight and encouragement moving forward.

We are finishing the design in illustrator. It ends where today's video starts. The series is called "Drawing for Illustrator" so the intent will always be to bring it into illustrator to finish the vector.
