Adobe Script Tutorial 32 Update Two Smart Objects

So. what im trying to script. Its an animated psd file. BUT. im using it as a mockup. The first layer (SO) is hidden, it controls 3 other smart obects that are diffrent on the timeline (all same image). 1 object set in 3 different timelines. So i open SO1, which opens a psb file with more SO. In this psb file i need to open the first SO (that is also hidden), This opens a 2nd psb file where my image will be placed.. save/close... save/close.. so when im back to my original psd file, the image should be in 3 different views(timelines).. save as jpg (instead of export video) it sounds easy.. just add another open/edit SO.. but its been a headache.

Can this be used with the variable images script. .?

The script Variable Images From CSV uses similar code only it tests for masks and makes new ones rather than disable and unlink them. Same result just gets there a little different. And it does any number of smart object layers, not just two.

@@wc7 ok I bought that one I love it, but on my smart objects that are warped around an object with a layer mask it distorts the output.

@@tiffanyw3794 Depending on the placeholder and new content, and effects applied to the layer, things don't always work out as expected. But that doesn't mean I can't try to make the script better. If I can see your files I may find a way to improve the result, maybe. Not for sure but I'm always willing to try. However, I am out of town tomorrow until the weekend so nothing right away. Not sure I understand. Could you clarify the meaning of "multi color layers"? Unless an image is grayscale, all layers are "multi" color.
