I own both Faster 3 and SMX plus v2. The SMXs are instantly comfy but the Faster 3 after a good break in are my all day riding shoes.

For simple classification purposes in street wear to be defined as a boot it must cover the ankles. Shoes are below. A clog can be considered a shoe. That’s stiff asf, you wouldn’t call that a boot because it’s stiff would you? Now moto gear does tiptoes the line since ankle protection is a must. For simplicity purposes I’d say a cut just right above the ankle could be considered a shoe and anything above moving toward the shin would be a boot. So I believe the Faster 3 is correct in classifying it as a shoe. Comfort level and stiffness is a rating on its own. My two cents. That aside great video! Love the content.

I use to wear some TCX shorty ankle boots for when i rode to work and tbh they wasn’t to bad but im of the mindset that you are dude wear your gear 💯 of the time buy the best your pocket can stretch to as you just never know. Dude you lost weight looks to me like you have?

They are some dope looking riding boots. I am gonna pick up a pair. Also for the laces I tie mine and cover them with the Velcro strap. That’s how I do my TCXs and I haven’t had any issues on the bike. What do you think about something like the Dainese Yorks?

Hi Adobo, I'm looking for vented racing style boots. I don't much track days or racing at all but on my Versys 1000 the feeling of safety I get from my boots is incredible. I currently own the SMX V2, but they hot as hell. I am considering the Supertech R vented boots. What's your opinion?

I’m looking for a similar boot and I was about to purchase this one until I saw your review. I also like the TCX Rush 2 but they don’t come in a size 49. What would you recommend for something in a similar form factor that’s going to be comfortable for all day street/canyon rides?

Thanks for this review. I was headed out to purchase a pair of F3's tomorrow. I'm glad to know ahead of time time that the shoe is so uncomfortable. Have you reviewed other shoes in this category? I'm looking for something like this without the pronounced heel to ride my sportbike on the street. I have full-sized boots for anything more aggressive.

If there’s a shop with many options, just try em all and buy the one that’s comfy. What’s not comfy for me may be comfy for you. I have wide feet, and the f3 is narrow.

I have SMX full boots but couldn't get my kevlar jeans over them - so i got the RST evo tech short boots. Look great in my jeans but i cqnt changer gear for shit because they are mega stiff. I should have returned them too 😕

@twitchmania7614 They're great riding shoes for summer. They don't need a lot of breaking in unlike riding boots and find them very comfortable on & off the bike. The only downside is that they're very slippery in wet conditions, you'll loose your footing on the pegs which makes riding really difficult.

I agree, the SMX's are comfortable af. Instantly knew it as soon as I slid my bunions in them thangs😂 I compared them to some Dainese's around the same price point, and the Alpinestars are much more comfortable. Great video my man, I can tell you're putting in the effort!

Adobo Moto I have alpinestars as2 boots and had puma 1000 V3 boots, maybe I’ve never had the right full height boot yet. The faster just move better with better feel of the controls for me, the taller boots have all bent kind of horrible to the point that I never wear them. Maybe I should try SMX+?

True, don't ride in shoes. Just broke my foot doing skids😅 2 Years ago broke my leg to by rolling while foot got stuck. Starting to think that is time to get good MX boots, cus I ain't getting any more smarter.
