Adopt OSDP, SIA's international standard, with the Cypress OSM-CPI Interface. Installed inside the panel, the OSM-CPI is an OSDP-to-Wiegand control panel interface that securely connects the panel with an OSDP reader.
The CPI panel interface receives the OSDP reader’s credential data and converts it to Wiegand. Likewise, the CPI unit translates the panel’s LED and other I/O signals to their OSDP equivalents, and sends them back to the reader. The entire exchange of data is securely encrypted, from the data received by the reader outside of the door, to the data received inside the panel.
