I recently rescued a female indie when she was 2 month old. I also own a beagle and they get along super nicely. She was rescued by my dad as she was crying and shivering in the cold as she was barely able to walk. She was covered in bite marks too.We named her Bholi and she is super grateful and is super clingy... she is still super scared of going outside but she started to go on walks recently and making friends with the dogs in my neighborhood. Both of my dogs are a blessing...

I have rescued one stray female puppy when she is of one month old. She was severely bitten by other dogs and at the door steps of death. I got her treated but for some days her all the legs were paralyzed and unable to stand on her own. But I didn't give up. I took her to many doctors and finally and fortunately she is able to stand, walk and run now. But one front leg is not recovered. Her name is sweety...she is now one and half year old. So lovely and cute.

@@SonuSharma-vh5ef give your more time to your puppy as much as possible, mine puppy also bark and howl when no one is with him, until 5 - 6 months you have to take care of her as like our little child...once your puppy get comfortable with your family and environment then he will not bark...but in night it will bark because my puppy and near by puppy also barks☺

Hope rarely barks, the barking frequency depends on the puppies environment, does the mother bark a lot? Do the other siblings bark a lot? It depends on many things. But also if you train them the right way and make them feel safe they have no reason to bark so often. And yes you can adopt one even in an apartment. Street dogs are very adaptive just make sure you take them out for a walk or to play everyday

Yes I'm born and brought up in Maharashtra, about your question, there are many techniques but it all depends on how the puppy responds to it. My best advice would be the moment your puppy starts biting you yell 'NO' and stop playing with him/her. And whenever the puppy listens to the command give them a treat. And also a word of advice from practical experience, teething slowly fades away as the puppy grows up, so relax but make sure you DO NOT promote the biting behaviour of the puppy. I would suggest wait for at least 8-9 weeks before adopting. And about the infection, just take the puppy to a vet and they will treat it. It's very common
